S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 I think he's made a fair few people look like the pathetic idiots they are tonight.
hypochondriac Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Exactly. People make their mind up about someone and then look to blame him for everything. I think he is a decent keeper and I'm glad he's in goal in place of the occasionally brilliant but erratic and injury prone boruc. Stand by my comments. Excellent keeper.
Avenue Saint Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Excellent performance. Put doubters to SHAME tonight.
View From The Top Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Made a few people look bigger cuunts than usual tonight.
hypochondriac Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Well sure that doesn't concern saints fans. You seem to have a new whipping boy in goal Forster was brilliant. Suck it.
saint77 Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 I think he's made a fair few people look like the pathetic idiots they are tonight. Absolutely this
Plumstead_Saint Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Well I have not been very impressed with him... until that save at Aguero's feet and now today's performance. Very glad to say that I was wrong, based on recent performances.
irene Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Forster was brilliant. Suck it. Grow up you imbecile. I had nothing bad to say about the guy was your other imbecile saints fans. Read the thread right next time
Crab Lungs Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Absolutely class tonight. Gutted for him and the rest of the guys
Turkish Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 Absolutely class tonight. Gutted for him and the rest of the guys Still l1 level?
davefizzy14 Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 He was outstanding tonight. We did not deserve to lose that tonight.
Bad Wolf Posted 3 December, 2014 Posted 3 December, 2014 He had his best game so far for us tonight. Fantastic.
SaintSteve Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Had a superb game tonight... but it does not put anyone doubting him to shame... it just means he had a great game. lets hope it continues.
Saint_Tony Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Absolute class. Can't believe so many doubted him after the mistake at Villa. He's a massive upgrade on Boruc.
hypochondriac Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Grow up you imbecile. I had nothing bad to say about the guy was your other imbecile saints fans. Read the thread right next time Absolute nonsense. Going on and on about how boruc was the better keeper. I'm glad we now have the superior keeper in goal.
Saint Garrett Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 (edited) Was brilliant last night. Needs to keep this form going, going to be used a fair bit over the next few weeks. Edited 4 December, 2014 by Saint Garrett
Smirking_Saint Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Had a superb game tonight... but it does not put anyone doubting him to shame... it just means he had a great game. lets hope it continues. It does when the only basis was the cock up at Villa tbh
irene Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Absolute nonsense. Going on and on about how boruc was the better keeper. I'm glad we now have the superior keeper in goal. One game does not make a great keeper, like one bad game does not make a bad keeper. My opinion is Boruc is the better keeper at this time. Will Forster be one day, possibly as he has age on his side. It is my opinion and in this free world we are all entitled to our own opinion

It is my opinion and in this free world we are all entitled to our own opinion Boruc is a great keeper but he plays for Bournemouth this season. http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/category-view.asp http://www.rednblack.net/courtoffside/
Sour Mash Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Forster had a brilliant game was very unlucky to be on the losing side. Doesn't stop me questioning a few of his performances earlier in the season. I busy evening last night probably did him good, not had enough to do for the last few months.

farawaysaint Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 264 posts Irene, and all about Boruc??? Be fair, she has taken the time to insult other posters as well.
deadpanmatt Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 You're right, one game doesn't game a great keeper, however Forster has had many good games this season. We wouldn't have beaten QPR if it weren't for him and I he has made key saves in many others. All keepers make mistakes, even the best in the world. If you're waiting for him to go a whole season without making any mistakes I'm afraid you're waiting for something that will never happen.
cellone Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 FF still needs to have an incident with some Saints fans behind goal before he really settles.
CB Saint Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 I give Irene this, she has stamina Just how long will the Boruc nosh-off go on for?
Golden Balls Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 Nothing wrong with Boruc, decent keeper. Forster is in a different league though. Metaphorically and literally.
Saint George Posted 4 December, 2014 Posted 4 December, 2014 The boy did good last night...Man of the match for me and finally a goalkeeping display that justified his selection over Boruc...Hopefully he can keep it up.
david in sweden Posted 5 December, 2014 Posted 5 December, 2014 Jack Butland, Jack Wilshere, Jack Rodwell. If you're a talented young English footballer named Jack, the peak of your fame will be the hype that is prematurely showered on you. .....or Jack Cork. ......Ignored at club and international level, but is worth better.
richard Posted 5 December, 2014 Posted 5 December, 2014 Might be tricky to get everyone signing it but you should definitely give it a shot.
SFC Chris Posted 5 December, 2014 Posted 5 December, 2014 Every goalkeeper makes mistakes, Forster - over the years - has shown himself to be very assured and an outstanding shot stopper. Mistakes are few and far between but, like any goalkeeper, it's easy to highlight them when they occur as it almost always leads to goals. We are fortunate to have him and he will only get better as he matures as a goalkeeper.
VectisSaint Posted 5 December, 2014 Posted 5 December, 2014 Might be tricky to get everyone signing it but you should definitely give it a shot. If we all wave our arms around enough it might look like we are signing it.
eddie Posted 5 December, 2014 Posted 5 December, 2014 he was called La Gran Muralla (the great wall) by spanish newspapers after that home win against barcelona when he was at celtic park
st alex Posted 6 December, 2014 Posted 6 December, 2014 he's on football focus BBC1 in just a bit Surprised that they questioned his kicking ability on Football Focus, thought it was much better than Hart's against Man City, and in general has been good, especially compared to Kelvin, who I thought was genuinely bad at kicking.

Especially after his pass that lead to a goal at home but I forget who it was against?
Stu Man Do Posted 6 December, 2014 Posted 6 December, 2014 Especially after his pass that lead to a goal at home but I forget who it was against? Newcastle? I thought it was odd they highlighted his kicking which I actually think is pretty decent! Better than Boruc! I'd say his area to improve in would be the low shots to down to his right seems to not read them so well.
Saint_clark Posted 8 December, 2014 Posted 8 December, 2014 How does the leagues tallest keeper not catch a cross that lands 2 yards out?
Smirking_Saint Posted 8 December, 2014 Posted 8 December, 2014 How does the leagues tallest keeper not catch a cross that lands 2 yards out? Seemed like very poor communication one way or another but he certainly should have come out, especially as in the whole he seems very good at claiming crosses I think pantillimon is taller though
St Chalet Posted 8 December, 2014 Posted 8 December, 2014 I'd rather have Boruc as an option. Good stopper Fraser, p*ss poor positionally.
Ultimatt Posted 8 December, 2014 Posted 8 December, 2014 His decision making is rubbish.. Can't decide when to come and when not to. That ball was always his. Interesting that he's looked great when he's been busy with opponents taking lots of shots, and he's looked awful in quiet games. That's a concentration issue.
captainchris Posted 8 December, 2014 Posted 8 December, 2014 A poor goal keeper why is he in ahead of Boruc???? He is truly awful...always asleep always stood rooted to his line and never alert to what's going on in the game. Vulnerable to the ball over the top as he's always not watching the game and stood on his line. Some blame must go to the coaches for his continued similar mistakes. Dross watched him a lot now and he is poor.....

Dross watched him a lot now and he is poor..... Bit harsh Chris, Boruc does need to be recalled until Fraser has eradicated the indecision though. He's been excellent overall but confidence looks shot and PL teams will exploit it ruthlessly. He got away with one V Sunderland but not at Villa. Joe Hart is a quality keeper and even he makes mistakes but a bit mentally stronger than Fraser. I think that's the issue, he's just got to go with instincts when coming off his line because they are usually right so don't agree with your comments about not reading the game, he's had a couple of bad setbacks in TV games and needs a break from the spotlight but will come back stronger.
