Unbelievable Jeff Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Wanyama has been excellent This, he's been brilliant. No surprise that we conceded both goals when Schneiderlin had gone off.
Mr X Posted 30 November, 2014 Author Posted 30 November, 2014 What a save by forster!!!!! he was in two minds wether to run out like last week
Batman Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Abysmal in every way today. So disappointing. City have not even had to be good to win comfortably Yes they have. They have been excellent
Smirking_Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Great save but why the **** does he stay on his line ?
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Who lost the ball in midfield leading to the goal? Davis.
Plastic Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Didn't realise Pelle was still on the pitch. Honestly.
washsaint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 what a bunch of crying babies on here.....boo hoo hoo we lose to Man City. Batman/Jamie/Dell days says oh we played two bad games in a row. Man City have been far the better side (and they beat Bayern at Bayern in mid-week) and these things happen From the same pussies who said we were relegation certs before a ball was kicked. 26 points after 13 games is incredible. We were always going to have a dodgy spell and it looks like that time is now. Both Tadic and Pelle are looking poor but it how we bounce back from this over the next few games that will count.
Mr X Posted 30 November, 2014 Author Posted 30 November, 2014 thoroughly deserved to loose this we can have no complaints unfortunately
Batman Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 One thing is for sure Arsenal away in the week is going to be even harder than this

Saint_Tony Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Great stop by Forster, a goal there would have killed his confidence. Beaten by a superior team today, but anyone who thinks we can finish top 4 now is deluded
washsaint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 and 3 - Tadic has been so poor and his set pieces are just horrible
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Bound to happen when you push that far forward.
Lighthouse Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Well I think we can safely say that we are nowhere near a top four side now. Top half maybe , but we are miles off of their level. Even with ten they are all over us. One defeat and suddenly we're nowhere near a top 4 club? What do you mean top half maybe? No we aren't as good as City and probably not Utd or Arsenal either but who are these 6 other clubs we've suddenly fallen behind.
Dalek2003 Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Oh well, we have been dicked today. Who have we got next. Need to strike back !
Batman Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Well beaten!!!!!! 0-3 Just like last season Flat track bullies
Edmonton Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 This is embarrassing. This is why Koeman shouldn't have changed the back four at half time. Joke.
Mr X Posted 30 November, 2014 Author Posted 30 November, 2014 conceding two more goals to ten men is very poor!
Sheaf Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Oh well. It was nice to stay second as long as we did. The simple fact is that Man City are a much better team than we are.

Calm down mate. We are doing brilliantly
Plastic Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 and 3 - Tadic has been so poor and his set pieces are just horrible Boo hoo hoo etc...
S-Clarke Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 People will go way OTT here and call for changes and tactical modifications, but the stark reality is that we have played poorly against a very good side. Can't happen for sides like ourselves, there will only be one result if that happens. Bit frustrated that we didn't ever give this a real go. Tadic has had a complete nightmare!
max_saints Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 shocking lack of discipline in defending after getting the one man advantage.
verlaine1979 Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 City have paid us the compliment of turning up and playing well in this game, rather than assuming they could walk it. We haven't been great, but this is a team with world class players throughout the spine of their side - even if we'd played our best, we'd have struggled to go toe to toe with them.
badgerx16 Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 This is embarrassing. This is why Koeman shouldn't have changed the back four at half time. Joke. And you, of course, know better than RK.
Edmonton Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Playing 9 men now. We will still find a way to concede a fourth..
S-Clarke Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 This is embarrassing. This is why Koeman shouldn't have changed the back four at half time. Joke. Please can you advise the alternative? Cheers.
Gambol2K9 Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Our set-pieces have once again been absolutely shocking.
a1ex2001 Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 needed cork on the bench to cover Schniederlin and Wanyama but it's easy with hindsight. Beaten by a better side but there is no embarrassment in that they spent more on the awful Mangala than we spent on our entire first team today.
Smirking_Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Tadic and pelle v poor today. We looked like rabits in the headlights for much of today. Still, we are third, we march on. Will need a massive improvement wednesday though
Saint_Tony Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 The red card just made us even more vulnerable to a City counter, and so it proved. It seems people actually expected us to get a result out of this. City have spent millions to get to where they are, and today has just confirmed how far behind we are. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone

Mr X Posted 30 November, 2014 Author Posted 30 November, 2014 pelle seems to have a blinder for two or three games then be anonymous for two or three, he hasn't worked hard enough today
Edmonton Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Please can you advise the alternative? Cheers. Reed or Gardos ? Reed is a natural midfielder is he not? and Gardos can play there as we were told when he signed. Not rocket science. Replace like for like.
Pancake Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 we're still third aren't we? grow up ffs. This.
Saxon Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 Unfortunate really. This was one of those games where once it went one way, that was it. The sending off turned out to be bad for us as we've pressed a bit too much and let in two goals going for it, but then, if we hadn't we probably would have lost 1-0, so fair enough to go all out. I don't think we've been sh*t, too many children on here. Lots of positives from this. This was always going to be tough, having City after they beat Bayern midweek. Bring on Arsenal midweek, I'll be there, very much looking forward to it. One game at a time, game on. We're 3rd, on 26 points. Brilliant frankly. We were always going to have some bad results, what were some people expecting?? Us to just win every f*cking game? COYS.
S-Clarke Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 pelle seems to have a blinder for two or three games then be anonymous for two or three, he hasn't worked hard enough today He has been poor, although he is up against one of the best in Kompany. Tadic is the one I've been most disappointed and frustrated with, he's had a total nightmare and has killed our attack. I hope this is a one off.
Mr X Posted 30 November, 2014 Author Posted 30 November, 2014 Reed or Gardos ? Reed is a natural midfielder is he not? and Gardos can play there as we were told when he signed. Not rocket science. Replace like for like. yoshida backed off for the third goal
Batman Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 We have been average to say the least. But they have been excellent. Top players at the top of their game
Smirking_Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 This is embarrassing. This is why Koeman shouldn't have changed the back four at half time. Joke. If course its nothing to do with that though. We missed Morgan when he went off, lost control of midfield which allowed City to build pressure. Tadic and pelle being poor meant the ball wasnt held upfront either.. Again, meaning city could build pressure
S-Clarke Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 We have been average to say the least. But they have been excellent. Top players at the top of their game Yeah, they've been brilliant. Quick to the ball, pressing as a unit, incisive with their passing. We've just dropped a level, and there will only be one result if these are the circumstances.
John Boy Saint Posted 30 November, 2014 Posted 30 November, 2014 All a bit Déjà Vu for the same time last year......... Ah well C'est la vie
