nine out of 12 of our games have been against sides in the bottom 11!

Lets make no mistake what we have achieved so far is incredible, and that cant be taken away from us but now is the real test!

The fixture list had been kind to us up till now, but you can only beat what's in front of you!

Can we perform when it really counts against other teams in the top four? I feel we are not at that level just yet and the ocassion will be too much for us, we were lucky to get a point from villa and if we play like that we will get slaughtered!

I would take a point right now, would you?

The way we are playing you have to go for it for me, if we have the very real aspirations then you have to go for it at home.

That said you are right, many many fans have got far far ahead of themselves. We have played two sides from last years top 6 and lost. We need to start now, a d prove we should be there. Its important to keep that confidence up.

Yep a spot on post, I 100% agree on both points.

Very similar to last season. Think until the last month (last season) we only had one win against top 10 sides?

Difference this season is i never expected us to be top 8, not after all our best player departed.

Today was a reality check, but all in weve still started the season way better than most expected and Koeman should take alot of credit for that.

There is no point in hiding from the fact; ManC put us in our place. If we cannot bounce back and get a result on Wednesday and at a least a draw against a resurgent ManYoo at the weekend, we will end up somewhere similar to last season, sadly.

Its been fun while it lasted...

That's always the risk when we have a Steve Wigley standard manager.
