Weekends other games

The other sides are creeping up on us in the table. As well as we've done, tomorrow is our biggest game in years. We need to get a positive result and make a statement that we are serious top 4 contenders.

Oh the melodrama. Let's go into full panic mode if we don' get 3 points. PANIC PANIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC

I think sunderland have been excellent

They've defended very well ... Just as villa did against us. Just goes to show if a team is organised and disciplined you can get a draw against anyone, but it's rarely enough over a season. Still think they'll struggle this year. And just as I don't think today means chelsea arent the best team in the league, I don't think Monday at villa shows our form is dropping significantly. Can't wait for tomorrow, should be a cracking game.

It would be nice, but we certainly don't NEED to do it.

I won't be in panic mode. Just that I'd prefer a top 4 finish, something to remember. If we get a result tomorrow, it becomes a realistic possibility. I feel defeat will send us on our way back down to 7th/8th.Whilst we played well last season, finishing 8th was a waste of time. It's a perfectly acceptable position, but let's try and make performances and results count for something this season.

Would love us to put a cheeky bid in for Wickham in Jan. I know he didn't score today, but I'm always impressed with his work off the ball, making space and drawing defenders. Think he could work in our system in place of Pelle as and when needed, but also work with him too.

I think Shane Long has got the 'overpriced and doesn't score very often' position well and truly covered.

Apart from 4 goals at the end of last season his career is a barren wasteland of goal scoring.

Went up to St Andrews today to watch a cracker of a game. Blues 1 up at half time, Forest levelled and Blues got a late penalty given by the third official who was standing in the dugout Lol. Last 5 minutes was mayhem.

Danny Fox played well, but was taken off for some reason. Tom Ince got booked while he was warming up with Blackstock, because he kicked the ball away so blues couldn't take a quick throw in. Blackstock kicked it away and ref couldn't work out who did it, so booked the one he thought.
