'Stevie Davis our ulster boy, Stevie Davis our ulster boy'. To the tune of Tom hark/Harry and Jim etc.

Nice and simple for our fans who can't manage more than two lines. And we haven't got one for Davis really?

Other than the horrific Steven/Kelvin Davis chant which thankfully never gets sung, no we don't.

Southampton loopy, Saints are we

Winning games by 2 or 3

We'll show you what we can do

And we fucking hate the skates in blue

Clap the reds and sing loud

Cos we are Southampton and we are proud

Southampton loopy, Saints are we

We're all Southampton loopy

To the tune of New York New York by Frank Sinatra

Villa used to sing it for Dwight Yorke

Probably far too many verses for us but here goes -

Start spreading the news

He's playing today

He wants to be a part of it

Jack Cork Jack Cork

Those leather bound boots

Are dying to score

Right through the very heart of it

Jack Cork Jack Cork

Those little town blues

Are fading away

He'll sign a brand new contract

Jack Cork Jack Cork

And if he can score from there

He can score from anywhere

It's up to you Jack Cork Jack Cork

How about a version of this? Alright I know its copying but what song isn't copied these days? Think it'd be great to get a good atmosphere going and its simple and catchy!

Southampton! (Southampton!)

Southampton! (Southampton!)

Come on you boys in red! (Come on you boys in red!)

Come on you boys in red! (Come on you boys in red!)

Hampshire's red and white! (Hampshire's red and white!)

Hampshire's red and white! (Hampshire's red and white!)

Oh woah oh oh etc.......

I think this would be an improvement on the current Pelle chant, to the tune of the hokey-cokey:

Ohhh Graziano Pelle,

Ohhh Graziano Pelle,

Ohhh Graziano Pelle,

Pelle and the Saints go Marching On!

Here's one for Toby, although I don't think a chant should really poke fun at any of your own players...

(to the tune of 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World", the first line fits with "Acting on your best behaviour"):

He'll play with Fonte or Yoshida,

Saving us from Gazzaniga,

Thank the lord for Toby Alderweireld.

Also, don't think I've seen any suggestion for using "Our House" for "Ward Prowse" - would be re-using a song for Lundekvam, but surely that's ok...?

There's my first ever post on here, I've been reading for ages but registering has proved a challenge!

This May or may not be appropriate next season :suspicious:

For I am a Hampshire Man from southampton I came

To see my saintly brethren of honour and of fame

And to tell them of my forefathers who fought in days of yore

That I might have the right to wear the sash my father wore

Its old and its beautiful and its colours they are fine

We wore it in league one when our football was sublime

My father wore it my youth in bygone days of yore

And at st Mary's I love to wear the sash my father wore

Clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap

Is that a hint we're back to the sash?

Not sure what the Mane chants are like at the moment, but given his recent form and now he will surely be forever in the PL history books, I started wondering about songs.

I think this one would work but need a bit of help with the chorus, can't quite get words to rhyme, flow and be 'singable'.

So, to the tune of Abba's Money Money Money (bet you can't guess how I'm going to use that line...?), picking up from the line "In my dreams, I have a plan".

I turn on, the radio

Another goal, from Sadio

He gets the ball and beats them all, our number ten from Senegaaaallllll

clap - clap - clap - clap

Mane, Mane, Mane!

Yes he can play,

On the left or right

Mane, Mane, Mane!

Scoring all day,

In our red and white

As I said, I don't like the 2nd & 3rd lines of the chorus but think the rest of it works. Would be good to come up with something about his hattrick record but not much rhymes with "Mane"...

Surely Radio Gaga would make a better basis for a song

All we hear is

Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane

repeat ad nauseum

Simple enough for the Northam.

This is the one that I sing in my head except I use 1st line All I need is ....

I think my previous Pink Floyd suggestion would be quite fun, especially if one stand did the bass line and cash register noises simultaneously with the rest of the ground singing the words ...

Dum dum-de-dum [ker-ching]

Dum dum dum dum dum dum-de-dum [ker-ching]

Dum dum dum dum dum dum-de-dum [ker-ching]

Dum dum dum dum dum dum-de-dum [ker-ching]

Mané - he's a hit

He makes your best defenders look sh1t

Mané - sure can play

He's gonna tear you a new one today!

As others had mentioned, Phil Collins' Sussudio ought to work but is not easy to sing. I did have a go ...

There's a goal that's been on our minds

Scored by Sa, Sa-sa-Sadio

oh oh

He could be one of the greats

And we know he really loves the Saints

Sa-sa-Sadio

oh oh
