SaintAmongSkates Posted 25 November, 2014 Posted 25 November, 2014 "After 38 games I don't believe that we will still be second. But maybe third." Nice http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30187194
adrian lord Posted 25 November, 2014 Posted 25 November, 2014 He's got a sense of humour, unlike perhaps, his predecessor. Not sure about saying we were too rushed last night, I thought we were slow and lacked pace or bite.
FloridaMarlin Posted 25 November, 2014 Posted 25 November, 2014 What I like about Koeman is that he is not afraid to answer a question, unlike most English managers or those who have been around the Premier League a while and are scared of giving an answer for fear it could be thrust in their face at a later date. He was asked by Ed Chamberlain last night if Saints could finish in the CL spots, and he said; "Why not?" Other managers would have fudge the question with a mealy-mouthed response of "We'll take each game as it comes, it's a long hard season and we'll have injuries to contend with, blah, blah, blah." So we might not finish top four - I would be be very surprised if we did - but he has shown ambition and he has thrown down a marker for the players.
Golden Balls Posted 25 November, 2014 Posted 25 November, 2014 Love the bloke. Get him on a Pardew-eque 8 year contract ASAP.
