whelk Posted 6 December, 2014 Share Posted 6 December, 2014 We seem to be getting into such a mess. Ballotelli getting charge is stupid as was Rio and now we are down that road. Pretence that everyone has kind loving thoughts and we live in such a sweet world. Full of much anger and hate and Whelan is an old northerner who used to call Chinese chingalings is not the unacceptable intolerance in society and more a generation thing. Still many 'nice' people want to see him hung drawn and quartered for the good of society.
Viking Warrior Posted 6 December, 2014 Share Posted 6 December, 2014 But it's still alright for the likes of Paul Morton to make derogatory comments about politicians , royalty and foreign leaders. While not directly racism although he does mock the Korean leader .which could be construed as racist. If you call people all sorts of names it is being offensive and it will not belong before the PC brigade stop us calling those down the road skates, scum or what ever. I have never heard the comment chingalings before, even when I lived in Singapore. Is this a northern word where did it originate
