Golden Balls Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 We have scored some amazing goals already this season.
saintwbu Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 We'd already have a pretty good goal of the season competition! Clyne vs. Liverpool & Arsenal, Pelle vs. QPR & Stoke, Wanyama vs. Hull. Some other great but not so spectacular finishes in there as well.
Saint_clark Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 We'd already have a pretty good goal of the season competition! Clyne vs. Liverpool & Arsenal, Pelle vs. QPR & Stoke, Wanyama vs. Hull. Some other great but not so spectacular finishes in there as well. No Vergini? Ball dropping down over his shoulder, on the volley....Van Persie scores that everyone goes nuts
Bad Wolf Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 Quite liked the music. Yes, me too. I also liked the shot of 'Arry looking miserable after we scored 2 minutes after them Thanks for posting, OP. I enjoyed that!
saintwbu Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 No Vergini? Ball dropping down over his shoulder, on the volley....Van Persie scores that everyone goes nuts shows how high the standard is that I forgot that one!
Plastic Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 Thanks for that, some great goals in there.
Chalkboy Posted 15 November, 2014 Posted 15 November, 2014 Great seeing them all together like that, thanks!
SNSUN Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 We'd already have a pretty good goal of the season competition! Clyne vs. Liverpool & Arsenal, Pelle vs. QPR & Stoke, Wanyama vs. Hull. Some other great but not so spectacular finishes in there as well. Deserves a thread of its own. So many outstanding goals this season. Morgan against Newcastle is close, as is Clyne in the cup against Arsenal, but I'm still going to give it to Pellè against QPR.
Stud mark of doom Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 These are an amazing set of goals. If we keep it up this must surely be our best ever team. Especially as our main strength is our defence! Ps - I can't recall a defence splitting back heal before. We have two in there - from two different players.
frankthesaint Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Love the fact that so many different players are scoring and with so many different types of goal. Both full backs, pretty much every midfielder, all the forwards... back heels, long range bullets, headers, even an overhead kick. Fantastic to watch. Must be a nightmare for opposition managers/researchers etc looking to do their homework on us! Bloody brilliant. Long may it continue! COYS!!
5string Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 No MotD today, so this filled the gap beautifully. Thanks, Batman!
Coxford_lou Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Pelle's is the best, but I love Wanyama's goal. Oh and Clynes... Can't believe how far out both were.
sentry Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Goals for lasted 8.33 mins, 17.1 secs average a goal. Goals against video would only last 2mins and 30 seconds.
Manuel Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Iteresting to watch Pelle's involvement. He holds up, creates, scores from distances, poaches, has skill, power. A complete striker.
OldNick Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Thanks for that, it's great with the commentary from Solent
lickierambert Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Deserves a thread of its own. So many outstanding goals this season. Morgan against Newcastle is close, as is Clyne in the cup against Arsenal, but I'm still going to give it to Pellè against QPR. Don't forget Pelle's in the cup v Stoke. That would probably have finished 2nd in last year's competition behind Lallana
Ex Lion Tamer Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Great video. I remember thinking in our promotion season that we didn't score many spectacular goals; last season was an improvement but this season had been sensational
eurosaint Posted 16 November, 2014 Posted 16 November, 2014 Still can't see how Mane's goal v Sunderland was considered an OG
KK the 2nd Posted 18 November, 2014 Posted 18 November, 2014 Great to see & thanks for posting. Agree with frankthesaint, what an array of goal-scorers! Pretty much every outfield player has scored with the exception of the centre backs and Steve Davis?
