Stud mark of doom Posted 14 November, 2014 Share Posted 14 November, 2014 I'll go for Barcelona, Monaco and Zenit St Petersburg Wouldn't mind that for a few midweek breaks. Stud mark of doom Posted 14 November, 2014 Author Share Posted 14 November, 2014 Well we're second in the league so it was either comment on a rape case or someone who might or might not be leaving the backroom staff or start something more positive. I am fed up with taking one game at a time. I'm not playing so it doesn't matter if I skip ahead a little. Plus I need to decide how much holiday I need next year. #itshappeningffs

Your all welcome to come visit the itchen bridge if you feel really bad. After you jump you can see St Mary's on the way down too which is beautifully poetic. So Apoel Nicoisa, Sampdoria and Celtic Due to the way the team are seeded, if we ever made it into the CL, I imagine our group would be pretty tough we'd be the equivalent PFC Ludogorets Razgrad...... suewhistle Posted 14 November, 2014 Share Posted 14 November, 2014 Somewhere where they take euros: hopefully any left over after my January skiing holiday will be put by in a spirit of optimism.. I've actually got quite a few € in an Italian account but think I owe most of them to the taxman.. Specifically Torino or Juventus would be great, or any other Italian team and if not somewhere cheaper to stay, or even Cyprus where I have rellies.. (This post is made in the same spirit as the OP: it's good to dream!)

NickG Posted 14 November, 2014 Share Posted 14 November, 2014 we were 3rd 12 months ago we wont be finishing top 4 Great news! With your track record with predictions this is best news we've had, top 4 it is! (Don't give up the dream, this time two years ago you said we would be so far adrift by Christmas we would be as good as relegated!) Funny how if we start badly you would be happy that we are at the right level, and the table never lies. Start well and its all about early days etc. You, I'm sure, are not 100% confident we will miss top 4, fool if you are. Still, unlikely, but still could easily happen - prob less of a shock for us to continue that it was for us to start this well. Enjoy. Dream. If we drop down to 8th, or whatever, at least you have enjoyed the dream while it lasted. I think our points will be enough for top 4, if others underachieve as they have been. Unfortunately I can see its more likely that ars bal and Man U will improve fair bit.

niceandfriendly Posted 15 November, 2014 Share Posted 15 November, 2014 A European tour would be the absolute perfect excuse to get back to Europe. I do miss it! UK doesn't have much pull obviously, but Rome, Barcelona, Turin, Split (are Hadjuk still in the Champs League? probably not), Monaco etc etc, I'm there. To all those miserable fellows, cheer up, we've already got it in the baaaaag.
CamberwellSaint Posted 15 November, 2014 Share Posted 15 November, 2014 As the OP implies, its rare that Saints fans would even get the opportunity to be as overoptimistic as this, so take the chance while its here. In the summer, if someone had started a "who will be our rivals for a Europa League place?" thread, they'd have been shouted down as delusional. My vote: Barca (for the magic), Ajax (for Ron), and Steaua Bucharest (for revenge). Hell, its not unthinkable we could get out of that group. Crab Lungs Posted 15 November, 2014 Share Posted 15 November, 2014 Yup we'd be fourth pot assuming we get there so we'd likely be up against a couple of real big heavyweights followed by a Basel or Roma. .
