JakkoUK Posted 13 November, 2014 Share Posted 13 November, 2014 Just seen this article on the Barclays Premier League site, it shows some quite interesting facts- especially the table showing teams that have coincided the least amount of goals after 11 games. It seems the lowest a team has finished when doing this has been 10th position. hasper57saint Posted 13 November, 2014 Share Posted 13 November, 2014 Didn't someone say many years ago that the 'best form of defence is to attack' ?

JakkoUK Posted 13 November, 2014 Author Share Posted 13 November, 2014 "Much focus has been on Dusan Tadic's creative ability, he has shown his willingness to perform "the dirty tasks" by making as many tackles as central defender Jose Fonte, and is the Southampton player with the fifth-most interceptions as well as the next-best in distance covered behind Schneiderlin." I was quite surprised when I read that, it's crazy to think Dusan has made as many tackles as Jose.

St Chalet Posted 13 November, 2014 Share Posted 13 November, 2014 Didn't realise this time last year we had also only let in 5 goals. Yep. Should our keeper not attempt any Cruyff turns or break his hand I reckon we can keep it up this year.

Awaits Forster to attempt a hand stand save resulting in a goal and broken hand.
Danger Mouse Posted 13 November, 2014 Share Posted 13 November, 2014 First paragraph... After a summer of upheaval at St Mary's, Southampton have found their groove quickly in the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season, losing only one of their opening 11 matches to become Chelsea's closest challengers at the top of the table. Oops. But that's okay, it's not like it's an article for the official Premier League website or anything. ...oh wait.

Given the choice I think it's the spurs one we should convert into a win those 3 Pts should come in very handy.
