Best Goal Difference in Top 4 Divisions

I know everyone is waiting for our bubble to burst, maybe that's why the best Goal Difference in the top 4 Divisions isn't being highlighted along with 2nd place.

Guess we will always be seen as a mid table club having a good spell until we start taking their Silverware and European places.

It's quite impressive, (considering it's Saints), but if we still have the same (best) defensive record after the New Year, we can really be impressed....along with all those doubting Thomases in the media ......

Yeah, we're rightly being hailed for that but win the Sunderland game by a more reasonable score (say 4-0) and we would be behind a handful of teams. One of them would be the Cherries, mind, who also got an 8-0 win...

surely ......if we had only scored 4 v Sunderland, we'd still have got the three points and still have been second in the table. Goals are nice but we still get three points a game - even with 1-0 wins.

The Sunderland result may have been a one off, but was it also symbolic showing what our new first team can do, IE did RK made a point of stuffing them, making up for MP's cock up in the cup last year.

Not many Clubs can ever quote the best GD in UK so why not shout about it.............. C O Y R
