Having long term plans is fine, unless the long term does not exist. I believe Woolies had a long term plan. This is not a plan, its just chaos.

I dont think ther is too much problem with the long term plan and the idea of the youth is a pretty good idea.

Think we are looking a little too much at the next 5 years when we need to address this season 1st or like woolies we wont be around to enjoy the next 5 years. :(

I thought Bale and Walcot were the long term plan. Or perhaps I'm just behind the times.

Just watching Dowie reporting on the Wolves - Shef U game and wondering what he could do with our team right now?

Nothing, it's a crap team.

McClaggon,Gillett,Smith and Lancashire shouldn't be anywhere near the first team.

Exactly, so the first thing a manager with half a brain would do is leave them out.

JP is so out of his depth it's embarassing, back to Dutch park football please.

Playing 2 up front might work better. We might pose more of a threat and take some pressure off the defence?

We are probably playing 3 up front, except the dumbasses don't know what they're doing.

A few If's here but bare with me,,,

If they were still with us and

If we were still in the prem and

If we had a manager/managment team that believed in the youth

I actually think this could work based on the income would be allot higher and we could afford the experience to blend that youth in.

Right now I have moved from the view that things were improving and we would be safe by the end of the season to the view that we are royally fooked and within a couple of seasons I will be able to see saints away at Torquay. :(

I wasnt suggesting he would pick them for the 1st team unless there really wasnt an alternative.

No idea on why they are all in the team today while leaving some of the others out but surley they cant be the only alternative?

Portvliet must go now.

He surely cannot stay any longer..

Something has to be done. Firstly, we need to score a goal and then maybe we might have a chance of getting anywhere. 4-4-2 MIGHT HELP

If thats the case then maybe we are being harsh on JP but personally I thik he is a little desperate and is making more and more bizare decissions.

Last time we were relegated it was the November results that sent us down. This season it will be December results that do the same.

I have a feeling that with Mr Lowe, Mr Poortvliet and Mr McGoaldrought it may also be the results in January, February, March, April and May that send us down.

That is the real problem, but somehow JP/or whoever is to follow him will have to find a way to get some results from this shower, now I don't know if they are just not good enough or if its this crazy total football S***E that is the problem.

Oh by the way is the forest come back on 2-4 now.

"Give it time","building for the future"

And all that ********...

I am all for that type of talk when things are looking like they are getting better. but they are not and havnt been for a while so i doubt many will be suggesting everything is going to be all right.

But why would he suddenly drop Euell,BWP,Perry,Lallana etc right out of the squad and put McClaggon on the bench with Patterson,Mills and Pearce?

something isn't right

We could sit here untill the end of time but the situation isn't going to change.IMO.

We have no money.

We have a manager who is trying his best with what we have got.

We have a manager who is inexperienced.

We have a playing staff that is not good enough.

We have a chairman,sorry chairmen,that are obstanate,ego orientated,and plain useless.

We have no suitors.

We are paying for past mistakes(see previous chairmen)

We are are in decline.

WE ARE NOW PAYING.

Do you still believe that JP is making all the decisions ?

I hate to say it but this club is so unwordably f*cked up that poortvliet will stay for the season and demand after relegation:

"im happy. there is promise. i am confident in the players to get us in the premier league in 2 years."

Lallana is the only one that the OS have tried to explain but how often is a player injured ;) just before a transfer window?

Doesnt look good at all and even worse if this is what we are left with.

Lowes hand is behind it WC.

Maybe, but I still don't see what difference it would make whether they play today or not.

Surely Mr Chorley threw enough at him yto pay a couple of Lowian win bonuses.

Perhaps there has been dissent in the ranks.
