Saint-Armstrong

So there goes the last remaining keystone from the Clubs recent success....All down to you now Mr Reed, no more backs to ride, sink or swim time.

What are you on about you weirdo ? You realise Reed has been in charge of the backroom footballing reincarnation that is seeing us having envious eyes from the rest of the BPL

Sure, they just make stuff up. We're doommed I tell you, you're blind if you can't see it.

It's not happening. It's all made up by the press

Don't panic

I don't think I ever said it was made up, more that the stories are passed on from clubs. For instance, when a player wants a new contract, they get their agent to release interest from clubs to journalists. Never said the press made these stories up.

Plus I don't believe I commented on this story, it was more the other stories I had an issue with.

Woah, I don't think I ever said I thought the story was made up, more the reason that it was reported in a national newspaper as it's such a non news story.

LOL.

It's only a "non news story" to you because of your disingenuous paranoia.

Why wouldn't Spurs poaching a member of our famed academy be covered by the press? You'll have noticed our academy has had quite a lot of coverage recently. Which is weird when you remember the entire British Press are apparently on a mission to destroy our Champions League push. Funny really.

See, now your just suggesting things I didn't say. We can both play that if you want.

Anyway, you probably want to get back to your Summer of bedwetting...

Who?????? leaves Saints? Ain't he some famous Walsall fan?

In 2014 are fans meant to post lots of drama on the Internet cos some office boy has left the club.

Bye Paul. I'm sure you're good at your job. Tuck up Spurs for double your salary. Fair play.

If you don't go then man - you're the best. I'm getting your name on the back of my shirt.

How many times have the press reported a similar move of a member of backroom staff? I can't think of any. Guess take it as a compliment in a round about way.

Seems really odd after all these new facilities just open which he seemed to have a big say in. Going to a less successful company, with a worse academy, lower chances of European football, worse first team manager, but for a few extra quid.

Bit weird.

Would be like leaving The Four Seasons to go to the Holiday Inn just for a few extra bob. Nice to have the extra £££ sure but is it worth the embarrassment of moving to a club like Spurs, going to work in a poisoned environment which ruins good football people, and having to have that on your CV?

Nothing better than the "I never said that" defence. So, anything you are prepared to admit you did say?

Of course, you've never used the word "destabilise" on this forum in the last week?

And you never said the media are placing negative stories about us because we are doing well, which you think they don't do for bigger clubs when they are doing well?

My point was the Mitchell story was in the papers because it was, you know, kinda true and not there as part of a mission to destabilise us.

But, you don't think that and never said anything remotely like that. So that's okay then. It's great when we agree entirely.

Radcliffe to Man Utd made the national press, as did Dodd and Williams leaving.

Surprise surprise. It was Neil Ashton who ran the Radcliffe story.

Also Dodd and Williams were coaching staff and also ex players, much higher profile than a guy who works in HR.

Yet again CB Fry failing to read and comprehend subtle nuances of people's opinions, but that's okay, I don't expect people of your 'ilk' to get stuff like this. Hence why I don't often engage you in debate, it's like teaching the special kid to spell. Frustrating and ultimately pointless.

I will explain one more time, so you can try to 'get it'.

I believe some journalists (particularly Ashton and Smith) are and have been leaned on and potentially paid to release potentially destabilising stories, by football clubs. This happens, hence why you hear about the Schneiderlin bids etc from a Spurs side, to try to unsettle players. In addition to this Saints making the top 4 is bad for the team that misses out, and hence I believe that the e re is a chance that certain stories will be released, probably about Koeman and our senior players, to try to contribute towards a drop in form.

I know you don't agree, but to attributw quotes to me that I havent said is disingenuous and frankly cu ntish.

Err, you've just typed out exactly what I said you said. Odd.

Don't flatter yourself with "nuance" sunshine, especially when you have such a pi ss poor grasp on how newspapers actually behave. The media has nuance but not in

Hint: no-one is releasing certain stories, probably about Koeman and our senior players, to try to contribute towards a drop in form. No one is doing that.

Although I fully expect you to come back and say you never said that, even though I've just fu cking pasted it from your post above.

Crack on, captain nuance.

'Sunshine'. Ahahahahaha, is that you trying to be hard? Priceless. In fact I might even Blog that post...

Blog away.

I'll just pretend I never said it, accuse you of not understanding nuance and then type out exactly the same thing again.

I have to say, thinking of you as him makes perfect sense, especially from an intellectual point of view.

You and the other intellectuals keep weeping about the newspapers trying to destabilise us.

I can never keep up with that brain power, that's for sure.

Don't tell me, you nevva said dat.

The bit you've written that I agree with is the prospect of Saints finishing top four is a panicky prospect to the EPL status quo. With the money and prestige at stake we shouldn't be surprised when journalists and the established 'big" Clubs start to hiss and boo, and covet what they think we have which could be an asset.

I find it quite ironic that Dibden is labeling another poster a potential internet warrior. Keep the side show going Id say.

Its not like the thread has anything concrete to work on anyway. The paper releases a story on how Spurs want to poach our head of recruitment, hardly surprising considering his teack record and spurs lack of personel. In the mean time a certain poster says hunter has left, no evidence, and suddenly we get reams and reams of why the newspapers are against poor old saints.

Its all a bit ropey isnt it ?

If he had left, and there was a 'destabilizing element' to the media (genuine lol there btw) then it would be all over the back pages

Must be first time I have ever been mentioned- have I arrived? Pap I think you have the stronger feelings regarding Fry.

He is on your mind more I think.

Don't get the Dyer link btw.

Nice term. How old are you? Mind weren't you the complete cvnt who referred to ruining Rachel Riley.

Bet you must be really popular with ladies.

People often say "paps. How comes you spend so much time on SaintsWeb?"

Where else would I get to see a man publicly falling in love with a complete c**t having a go at another man for being a complete c**t?

Funny thing is that I've been for a beer with UJ. If that is your definition of complete c**t , you're going to have nightmares when you watch some of the scarier Disney films.

.

But they don't now do they? More likely because you are a little boring and socially inadequate if I was to hazard a guess.

From your attempts at humour on here i don't see much trace of any wit.

And as for falling in love. I'm not sure our definitions are the same. I think you take your nemesis too seriously. But clearly this is a bigger thing to you as more significant in your world maybe?

And nerd boy backs drinking buddy. Did you s****** and look at all the females in the pub and say how you'd like to 'ruin' them as you put in funny voices?
