Rupert is at pitch side again:rolleyes:

Wonder if he's joining Gasmi in the stands for the second half?.... probably not a very clever plan.

Bugger I should have got a sitter and gone just for the chance of joining in on the public kicking he would have got. :(

Well, good news from Fratton anyway. lol!!!

See you next season skates!

Most optimistic post of the day so far .... assuming we will still be in Chumpionshiite and not League 1 ;) :smt044

I will be interested to hear the reasoning behind this team selection (sweepstake/lucky dip system maybe ). Not only the team selection but lack of experience on the bench as well. Holmes and Smith are probably not fully fit and not likely to last 90 mins. ... and I'll flinch at every tackle Lancashire makes

Don't tell me we are resting players for the Reading match, this game is probably more winnable than the Reading game bearing in mind our crap home form

My mate reckons Gasmi is in the away end with some bit of skirt!

How funny.

How or(gasmi)c!

In case anyone is joing us late, the team/bench for today is:

Saints: Davis, James, Cork, Lancashire, Skacel, Gillett, Gobern, Smith, Holmes, Surman, McGoldrick. Subs: Forecast, Mills, Pearce, McLaggon, Paterson

Saints in "corner comes to nothing shocker"

TBF I can think of at least 3 goals we've scored direct from corners this season which is probably not a bad return.

Two of those from someone who does not even make the bench.

I couldn't have put it better myself Eric.

As I posted on the build-up thread, there are only 4 players in our 16 (including Jack Cork) with more than seasons worth of experience in the CCC.

And, 8 of today's 16 played for our reserves against Exeter reserves on Monday (in which we cruised to a 3-2 win, FFS!)

How do you explain that Surman is playing then?

Down negative man.

Negative...nah....realist.

As far as Surman goes well...who knows, maybe deal already signed

awaiting January...

Who's that?

Perry?

That's at least 4 then because Pearce has two as well.

Merrington confirms there was a dressing room bust up,hence Wotton has been shipped out to Brighton.

How he knows for sure, i cannot confirm.

I guess some of the players told Portvliet what we all know..

That he doesn`t have a ****in` clue....
