saintchris23 Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 Have they talked Saints yet? If so, anything of interest?
Dig Dig Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 The Saints bit was first up and I caught a little bit. Most interesting snippets include: - Thinks Koeman is a great manager, very open and approachable - The midfielders are free to push forward as long as one is holding which is why they are scoring more - There was a ''misunderstanding" with Koeman when Victor wasn't playing but he is happy and hoping to keep his place in the team - He was worried over the summer when the players were leaving as he had never seen or experienced it before but the players who came in are very good - Doesn't think we are over achieving, we work hard and are getting our reward for that

saintchris23 Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 Cheers Dig Dig. I'd like to have been a fly on the wall with the 'misunderstanding'!
buctootim Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 - There was a ''misunderstanding" with Koeman when Victor wasn't playing but he is happy and hoping to keep his place in the team They fell out because he was dropped, or was dropped because they fell out, or not clear from interview?
jasonb Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 Still loves Celtic then. Only saw that part tho to be fair. And to think Celtic said he'd only be with us a year then onto a top 4 club! That's could still happen of course. He's maturing very well indeed and I don't think it will be much longer before Arsenal come calling for him.. He's exactly what they need unfortunately.
Convict Colony Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 Big Vic looks even bigger on the sofa and Paul Inc so far has had his arm round him, his legs right next to him, I think he's in love with vic

Dig Dig Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 They fell out because he was dropped, or was dropped because they fell out, or not clear from interview? It wasn't clear but I think he was unhappy at not playing which he said was normal for any footballer.
sentry Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 My memory is dreadful, what celebration was that? The one where he kinda hinted 'see, pick me'.?

Lighthouse Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 He doesn't look like the kind of bloke I'd want to have a misunderstanding with. "Ronald, I want to play up front." "Yes Victor" "Ronald, I want to play in goal next game." "Yes Victor, of course you can"
SNSUN Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 He gets my vote as "most improved" player. It's very refreshing though that we can pick from Davis, Morgan, Vic and Cork, and still have JWP and Reed backing them up. That's a top central midfield right there.
the_emu Posted 9 November, 2014 Posted 9 November, 2014 They fell out because he was dropped, or was dropped because they fell out, or not clear from interview? Didn't it all kick off at the hotel prior to the West Ham fixture, as got dropped to the bench after he got dragged for having a mare at Millwall. I could be wrong but think Koeman said F@ck you, and scratched him late notice from the team sheet all together.

Imagine we still had Taider and Gaston (who lived up to their potential though)- pretty impressive midfield then
