Dr Who? Posted 2 November, 2014 Share Posted 2 November, 2014 I can offer a service to a lighting company/wholesaler to upgrade their lights from IP40 to IP67. This is mainly for marine, but can be used in other sectors. It is all to do with the spec required for the lights to call them 'IP67'. This is mainly into the wholesale or retail sector, rather than end users, as it added value to the lights of £15-£20, depending on the light. I can do this for between £3-£6 per light. As you can see this offers much more profit margin for the wholesaler or retailer. As Southampton is known for its marine and sailing, I thought this would be a great place to post this. Dr Who? Posted 8 January, 2015 Author Share Posted 8 January, 2015 Will you be offering acredited certification for this upgrade sustainable to compex and ABS /Lloyds register? Yes, I do it for the company I work for, who supply Sunseeker yachts. We do it in line with Cantalupi lighting in Italy!
