SFCRedandWhite Posted 1 November, 2014 Posted 1 November, 2014 I'm pretty useless at thinking up chants, but 'Im into something good' seems like a catchy and relatively easy song to make into a chant. Fc united of Manchester use the song. Woke up this morning feel fine, rhymes with 'Nathaniel Clyne' and 'Ronald Koemans red and white army' can fit into something tells me im into something. Over to someone who can piece it together.
Saint Rees Posted 1 November, 2014 Posted 1 November, 2014 Did this get going at all today? (OP)? think I heard the Allez Allez Allez oh on the stream but that could've been Hull fans
Yorkshire Saint Posted 1 November, 2014 Posted 1 November, 2014 Not that I heard, What was the new Pelle chant and what was the Jack Cork one.
CB Fry Posted 1 November, 2014 Posted 1 November, 2014 It happened. Three or four nice young men in front of me tried to get it going. It didn't get going. But they tried. CB Fry salutes you.
SaintRobbie Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 Big Vic chant. To the Vanarama advert (or SingHosanah!) Vic Wanyama, Vic Wanyama, Vic Wanyama he's the Kenyan King. Vic Wanyama, Vic Wanyama...Vic Wanyama he's the king!
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 A new Pelle chant? Sounds interesting Probably means the 'hey hey hey it's magic, you know, Tadic and Graziano'
Saint-Fred Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 A group did get a Graziano one going a bit at half time (to Karma chamelion) it's ok and good on them for starting something new, went something like Graza,Graza,Graza,Graza, Graziano he scores a goal , he scores a gooooal, repeat
red&white56 Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 It happened. Three or four nice young men in front of me tried to get it going. It didn't get going. But they tried. CB Fry salutes you. yes I also heard the chant but not knowing the words i couldn't join in............
Badger Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 Big Vic chant. To the Vanarama advert (or SingHosanah!) Vic Wanyama, Vic Wanyama, Vic Wanyama he's the Kenyan King. Vic Wanyama, Vic Wanyama...Vic Wanyama he's the king! Good option. Celtic fans put a good tribute toVW up , "Kenya feel the force.." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJrarMZIG7I Not sure that this 1970's disco effort will translate into a stadium chant though.
krissyboy31 Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 Woke up this morning feel fine, rhymes with 'Nathaniel Clyne' and 'Ronald Koemans red and white army' can fit into something tells me im into something. Over to someone who can piece it together. Woke up this morning feel fine, remembered our right back was Nathaniel Clyne with Fonte, Toby and Bertrand in fromnt of Forster stood. Something tells me our back four is fnckin' good!!
Saint Rees Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 Woke up this morning feel fine, remembered our right back was Nathaniel Clyne with Fonte, Toby and Bertrand in fromnt of Forster stood. Something tells me our back four is fnckin' good!! Think this has potential! maybe change it so its only about Clyne though - he deserves his own song! can't think of any decent lines for the third and fourth though
Coxford_lou Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 Think this has potential! maybe change it so its only about Clyne though - he deserves his own song! can't think of any decent lines for the third and fourth though How about: Woke up this morning feeling fine Knowing our right back is Nathan Clyne Faster than a cheetah, harder than his Stockwell 'hood Something tells me Clyney is bloody good...
Iowsaintsfan Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 My quick effort Ronald, Ronald Koeman, the greatest guy in history, Saints now, scoring for fun hes taking us to the top 3
Saint_clark Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 Given Pelles dancing past, from 1:06 "Hey mambo, mambo graziano" and repeat. Easy.
Danger Mouse Posted 2 November, 2014 Posted 2 November, 2014 (edited) To the tune of The Flintstones Grazi, ano Pelle; He's the best striker in his-to-ry. Playing, for Southampton; Scores some goals that make you say "f*ck me!" Edited 2 November, 2014 by Danger Mouse
Wurzel Posted 3 November, 2014 Posted 3 November, 2014 How about: Woke up this morning feeling fine Knowing our right back is Nathan Clyne Faster than a cheetah, harder than his Stockwell 'hood Something tells me Clyney is bloody good... Amended it a bit for you, although it may need changing again after the next international. Woke up this morning feeling fine Knowing our right back is Nathan Clyne Doesn't play for England, we all know that he should Someone tell them Clyney is bloody good..
Ed Rooney Posted 5 November, 2014 Posted 5 November, 2014 He stands at over 6ft 3 Grazi Grazi He'll shoot us up the premier league Grazi Grazi We bought the lad from Feyonoord and yet again he's ****in scored Graziano Southamptons Goal Machine
100%Red&White Posted 5 November, 2014 Posted 5 November, 2014 This 'New Koeman Chant' seems to be getting mixed up with the Pelle one. There's 3 different threads now for Koeman songs, best efforts on here so far imo http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?51889-Song-for-Koeman&highlight=song+koeman This one still gets my vote, good noisy chant that everyone knows Ei-Ei-Ei-O Up the Premier League we go, And when we get to Europe This is what we'll sing, We're Southampton, we're Southampton Koeman is our king.
Ekelund24 Posted 5 November, 2014 Posted 5 November, 2014 Why can't we sign a player by the name of Brown then we can have a good old Knees up Muvver Brown. Might work with Morgan Schneiderlin: Mor-gan Schneid-er-lin Mor-gan Schneid-er-lin Up the table we must go Ee-aye, Ee-aye, Ee-aye-oh If he sees you running He'll take legs right out Mor-gan, Mor-gan Nearly born a German Mor-gan Schneid-er-lin Oh my, what a rotten song What a rotten song What a rotten song Oh my, what a rotten song And what a rotten singer Too-oo-ooh
Alwightmush Posted 5 November, 2014 Posted 5 November, 2014 To the tune of The Flintstones Grazi, ano Pelle; He's the best striker in his-to-ry. Playing, for Southampton; Scores some goals that make you say "f*ck me!" I had this tune in mind for Fraser Fraser, Fraser Forster; He's the biggest man I've ever seen. Playing, for Southampton; You'll never see the boys concede! Not sure on the last 2 lines though.
