Johnny Bognor Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Ground breaking news: Exit polls in Chichester suggest that J-CRAP registered its first ever vote in a general election, coming 9th behind spoilt ballots. This is a massive percentage increase on the 2010 election and is therefore a very successful evening for us
buctootim Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Didnt Thatcher win her second election despite the polls indicating Labour under Kinnock. The post mortem decided that people were embarrassed to admit to a pollster that they had voted for her. Maybe there is an element of that this time.
CB Fry Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 One nil to Labour. They just need to park the bus for the next seven hours now.
Coxford_lou Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 One nil to Labour. They just need to park the bus for the next seven hours now. If only it were that easy!
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Personally I believe Ed was genuine when he said he'd never form a coalition with the SNP so I expect 5 more years of the moon faced ***t.
Chez Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 **** me that's a terrible suit the Sunderland Tory candidate is wearing. I thought he might have been a candidate for one of the joke parties...
Torres Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 One nil to Labour. They just need to park the bus for the next seven hours now. Ed "Jose" Miliband.
Torres Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 It hurts to read that! Yeah, sorry, I'm writing on my phone and my sentence structure seems to go to **** when I am.
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 David Miliband on his way back? Should have been him all along... Urgh, a Tory Tony, Blair-lite clone. No thanks.
Torres Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 UKIP up 19%. Jesus. Protest vote a la European elections.
Coxford_lou Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Urgh, a Tory Tony, Blair-lite clone. No thanks. Well, enjoy opposition then, Jonnyboy.
Johnny Bognor Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 One nil to Labour. They just need to park the bus for the next seven hours now. Lol. Funniest moment of the evening so far.
buctootim Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Urgh, a Tory Tony, Blair-lite clone. No thanks. Disagree. Ive met him through work , very clever conviction politician, not just an operator.
Coxford_lou Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Disagree. Ive met him through work , very clever conviction politician, not just an operator. He is very respected on the world stage. People need to get over the 'Blair' obsession.
JackFrost Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Rumour going round that Ed Balls may have lost his seat
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Torys think theyve beaten Ed Balls apparently. Barely heard a peep out of him in months.
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Well, enjoy opposition then, Jonnyboy. That's my life's destiny baby, my destiny.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 He is very respected on the world stage. People need to get over the 'Blair' obsession. I'd be more tempted to vote for DM, his views are far more aligned to mine than Ed's, that's for sure.
View From The Top Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 If Ed has lost his seat it's not been a bad evening for Labour!
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 I'd be more tempted to vote for DM, his views are far more aligned to mine than Ed's, that's for sure. For example?
John Boy Saint Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Balls out. There's your story. Front page of the Sun without doubt.
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 If Ed has lost his seat it's not been a bad evening for Labour! ...
Torres Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Can't help but think the Balls out story is the Tories making mischief. Funny as **** if it's true though.
Torres Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Ive remembered why I cant stand Michael Gove. You forgot all 137 reasons?
Jack Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Anyone doing an all nighter? Working a nightshift til 6am, so I'll be keeping up with it on Twitter. I'll be amazed if it's a Conservative win by that much, but I can hope. With any luck that Exit Poll is being generous to UKIP and the Greens and they end up with nothing, Mickey Mouse political parties.
pap Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 UKIP up 19%. Jesus. Said it would happen, and that they'd get some of Labour's vote too. I wonder how much they'll grab from other parties.
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 If Ed has lost his seat it's not been a bad evening for Labour! Good point. Ed is the best weapon the Conservatives have.
Lighthouse Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Paul Merson always said 2-0 is a dangerous scoreline. Watch this space.
Wade Garrett Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Terrible night for Labour and the LibDems if the exit polls are accurate. Also suggests that the opinion polls, including Lord Ashcroft's aren't worth the paper their written on. I think Ed Milliband performed better than a lot of people thought during the campaign. But if they end up with less seats, then he'll be out.
Chez Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 57% turnout in Sunderland, the same as 2010. Is that percentage the norm? Disgraceful.
Crab Lungs Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Most impressive. Coffee or red bull? Coffee for the moment... and background football manager. That said, I've to mute the TV as Natalie Bennett's voice is causing my ears to start to bleed
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Bob Dylan is a Tory candidate now, I thought he was an artist?
Jonnyboy Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 (edited) anyone seen the Taiwanese election video on Facebook? Edited 7 May, 2015 by Jonnyboy
Lighthouse Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 @IDS_MP on twitter, gets so many bites from non-Tory voters who don't realise it's a spoof.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 Fair play to Ed Balls fronting up on the BBC with the rumours swirling around .
