Huffton Posted 24 December, 2008 Posted 24 December, 2008 This thought occured to me earlier, don't know if its a possibility or even if it is legal. Crouch has x amount of pounds to spend on SFC. Lowelife is clearly playing hardball and asking well over the top for his shares. Crouch knows that if he buys Lowelife out he won't have much left for the club, so he waits, allows Lowelife to lead the club into admin, then makes a play for the club. Agrees with the administrators a debt plan or whatever its called, gets the club for a fraction of the cost Lowelife was asking, and then has far more left over for debt reduction/player investment. We take the ten point deduction, get some experience in the side, walk league 1 next season and we are all happy and united again next year for a good crack a gaining promotion back to the prem. Or have I hit the xmas juice a bit too early?

If LC wants to take control then he needs to do it before administration otherwise things will happen with creditors (especially the stadium mortgage) taking control of our fate. And by the way, did Leeds walk League 1 and come strait back up? Ask the fans of Maidstone and Scarborough about the joys of administration, and Bournemouth, Rotherham and Luton. Ask the fans of Aldershot and Accrington just how easy it is to bounce back from nothing because it has all gone. We may not have much (other than debt and a divided club) but it is better than losing everything by going in to administration. Its not just being docked 10 points.
thorpie the sinner Posted 24 December, 2008 Posted 24 December, 2008 Yep WESTON, as my one true voice of reason on here, how aworried are you about the precarious state of our club at mo! it frightens the hell out of me! Any positives at all in your opinion? Merry Christmas mate

Alot of clubs are bought after admin though are they not?
lordswoodsaints Posted 24 December, 2008 Posted 24 December, 2008 tbh all of the major shareholders will be circling like vultures if and when we go into admin, but they wont be the only ones......do we really want any of the big 3 involved again? i would prefer none of them to have anything to do with the club as they have all been sh1te imo.we need a clean sweep and some decent money otherwise we wont be any better off.
Saint in Paradise Posted 24 December, 2008 Posted 24 December, 2008 Administration helped this company http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7796751.stm
SW5 SAINT Posted 24 December, 2008 Posted 24 December, 2008 Administration helped this company http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7796751.stm I wonder if Whittards took a ten point hit!
Amesbury Saint Posted 24 December, 2008 Posted 24 December, 2008 LC needs to make a move before administration. Also we focus on Lowe but we should look at his supporters and work on them. Are they confortable with the current situation?
Snowballs2 Posted 25 December, 2008 Posted 25 December, 2008 I think that after the AGM a lot of people are waiting to see if Leon backs up his words to Lowe with action, or, does he just talk a good game like Portaloo. It is not beyond posbility that Crouch may be trying to get some like minded people involved. Oops just seen father Christmas on his sleigh going past.
