Sevvy Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 So what do you think on here. Myself I think Levy is to blame.wants instant success
S-Clarke Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 Would be totally dim and short-sighted to blame MP, but wouldn't put it past some.
Whitey Grandad Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 Why are they looking for someone to blame? That would imply an unrealistic expectation of their proper standing.
Wiggles31 Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 Whoever was responsible for not signing a forward. They are a bit of a joke club right now.
Smirking_Saint Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 Whoever was responsible for not signing a forward. They are a bit of a joke club right now. This really, strong everywhere else Plus I find it a bit early to soley blame Poch, however he needs to shoulder some blame in reality
CB Saint Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 To not blame mopo is entirely rational. However, this is football, so feck him.
Bucks Saint Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 Mopo took the job and signed the few players he decided upon to improve the team. They are playing worse than last season, so far. Blame free?
stevegrant Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 Sometimes the manager has to adapt his philosophy to fit the squad of players at his disposal, rather than attempt to shoehorn them into a system that doesn't suit the players' best attributes. He's only had experience of players who are willing to learn and are eager to improve themselves and to make it as top players. With Spurs, he's gone into a club where the majority of the first team squad think they've already made it and have nothing new to learn.
hutch Posted 28 October, 2014 Posted 28 October, 2014 I don't think you need to blame either. Levy brought in a new coach with a track record of finishing eighth in the league, and they still have a good shot at finishing there or thereabouts.

This and you get the impression with MP that he either won't or can't adapt his philosophy.

We seem to have quite a unique squad who have a brilliant mentality, who want to learn.
