Secret Site Agent Posted 29 October, 2014 Share Posted 29 October, 2014 What we should do, to really mess with their heads, is to clap and cheer their team onto the pitch, and everytime they get near the goal and miss, we should shout out, 'Hard Luck old chap' and clap. Then when we beat them by an obscene amount, we should clap their team off, whilst shouting, 'hard cheese. But well played and hope to see you soon', and greet all their fans as if they were long lost friends. The perfect mind funk.
Dellman Posted 29 October, 2014 Share Posted 29 October, 2014 I've a lot of affection for Bournemouth and they are no threat to us, It's good to see a south coast club which has not cheated and is not fraudulent and has paid the tax man, doing well. Let's wish them well, until we play them

We used to nip along to a couple of games. Fond memories.
doddisalegend Posted 29 October, 2014 Share Posted 29 October, 2014 From the BBC Bournemouth defender Adam Smith says his side's League Cup victory over West Brom proved the Cherries have Premier League quality in their ranks. The Championship side's 2-1 win over the top-flight opponents saw them reach the quarter-finals for the first time. It was their fifth successive victory, and they sit fourth in the second tier. "The football we play is Premier League standard and we have shown tonight we can compete with top-flight teams," Smith, 23, told BBC Radio Solent. I guess we better watch out:)

Bourne Valley Saint Posted 29 October, 2014 Share Posted 29 October, 2014 Some of their fans are complete knob ends but irrespective of that I've wanted them to do well. Had to laugh when we beat them 3-1 and I walked into a pub about two miles from the ground with my Saints top on to be greeted by one as "He's a *uckin' Scummer". I just looked at him with pity and bought my pint. I think that he thought I shouldn't be on their patch! Anyway, I know several Bournemouth fans who are decent people and good luck to them. Great results against Birmingham and West Brom and hopefully they'll be in with a shout of promotion. At least we'd have a local derby to play because we cant rely on that lot down the road to participate in one for a few years yet! And yes, please forget about Bompey - it definitely is cringeworthy.
