Mr X Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=10442 Aren't people going to look a bit stupid with these T-shirts when he gets injured again?
hugh Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Think I will wait until he has played at least in the Birmingham game before I even consider it thanks.
DT Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Plus he hates that nickname. Typically dozy Saints initiative, almost as sad as doing season highlights DVDs.
Mr X Posted 14 August, 2008 Author Posted 14 August, 2008 There's nothing like tempting fate is there! trying to cash in on misfortune.
saintrich Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Nearly as bad as "Saints go Wilde" . *gash, what happened to the suprised smiley!!
Scummer Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Nearly as bad as "Saints go Wilde" I noticed the other day that the 'Saints Go Wilde' t-shirt was actually designed by Gecko. He seems to keep pretty quiet about that one.......
trousers Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 . *gash, what happened to the suprised smiley!! Was going to mention that....the smilies that one selects from the smilies panel get turned into something else when posted. Now, what's that all about eh?
ronnie radford's boots Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 It's just one of a series ......
DT Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Perhaps only reserved for BBQ Aprons? post of the year.
GeckoSaint Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 (edited) I noticed the other day that the 'Saints Go Wilde' t-shirt was actually designed by Gecko. He seems to keep pretty quiet about that one....... Cheers. Saints Go Wilde is still in my portfolio. My club asks me to come up with a couple of t-shirt designs of course I'm gonna oblige. Believe or not some fans actually bought them. As for the Killer t-shirt good on em. Edited 14 August, 2008 by GeckoSaint
wooley11 Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Typical negative approach from posters on here. Happy days a favourite of many saints fans has returned from injury after such a long time, its just a bit of fun!
Colinjb Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 I'll stick to getting his name on the back of my new away shirt.

I will 100% be blaming the release of this T-shirt on any future injuries michael svensen gets
PokingFun Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 I will 100% be blaming the release of this T-shirt on any future injuries michael svensen gets Lets hope it is Svensen and not Svensson that gets injured in that case...
trousers Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 post of the year. You obviously missed the one about the price of bus tickets then.....
offix Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Nearly as bad as "Saints go Wilde" careful, they may just start printing those again
Mr X Posted 14 August, 2008 Author Posted 14 August, 2008 Lets hope it is Svensen and not Svensson that gets injured in that case... Stop poking fun!
Totton Red Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Not a good t-shirt if you are on the short side!!
St Landrew Posted 14 August, 2008 Posted 14 August, 2008 Much as I love Michael svensson back in the Saints side, there's no way I'd be happy with seeing a T-Shirt proclaiming Killer's Back. I'd love to see the wry humour if they had the guts to reproduce Baj's spoof one though.
Legod Second Coming Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 I'm guessing that he posed for the photo and that we can therefore assume he is: a) fairly confident the knee is standing up well b) happy with the nickname Killer c) doing his bit for club finances. Of course, the guy who knows the doorman at the Winchester who slept with the wife of the plumber from next door, who fixed the taps in the Anglers where the brother of the former coach of the youth team whose manager is the cousin of the sister of the nurse who assists the club doctor on a Wednesday afternoon has heard he's on crutches... so it must be true.
AwaySaint1 Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 Cheers. Saints Go Wilde is still in my portfolio. My club asks me to come up with a couple of t-shirt designs of course I'm gonna oblige. CB Fry Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 Plus he hates that nickname. Does he? He had lots of opportunity to to tell the club, the Echo, the website and anyone else who'd listen that he doesn't want to be called Killer. And maybe they ran the T-shirt idea past their club captain too? I think he likes his nickname. Just a hunch.
Saints67 Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 Does he? Did he arrive wiith the nickname 'Killer' or is it one bestowed upon him by the Mighty Saints fans?
Mr X Posted 15 August, 2008 Author Posted 15 August, 2008 Did he arrive wiith the nickname 'Killer' or is it one bestowed upon him by the Mighty Saints fans? I seem to remember that's what he was called at his previous clubs

He had lots of opportunity to to tell the club, the Echo, the website and anyone else who'd listen that he doesn't want to be called Killer. Svensson has said in an interview that he doesn't like his nickname, but accepts that it is something out of his control.
Saint Mikey Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 If he does get injured, then these t-shirts can go on the scrap heap with the 'Saints go Wilde' ones.
DT Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 Svensson has said in an interview that he doesn't like his nickname, but accepts that it is something out of his control. So yah boo to you, CB Fry.
Legod Second Coming Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 Svensson has said in an interview that he doesn't like his nickname, but accepts that it is something out of his control. Maybe this is a language thing and what he means is that he doesn't like the implication of his nickname??
St Landrew Posted 15 August, 2008 Posted 15 August, 2008 Maybe this is a language thing and what he means is that he doesn't like the implication of his nickname?? Well observed, and that's also my understanding. But Michael's english is very much his second language [despite his lack of accent], and so I suspect he can't express the emotive nuances he'd like to.
