SuperSAINT Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Great stuff. Nice to see Ronald being so smooth with Katharina.
ThreeSixty Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Love how there is now a massive picture of Victor just outside the away dressing room
hypochondriac Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 What's with the three kisses? All my Italian relatives just give two on each cheek.
SuperSAINT Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 What's with the three kisses? All my Italian relatives just give two on each cheek. It's a Swiss thing isn't it?
sentry Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 LOVEILY. These videos are great ( well when we win). The dutch fans at the end must be the father and daughter that came over, and they got to meet Pelle in the changing rooms, great show by the club,,, prob means we have a couple more Saints fans across Europe now. Also noticed the video was edited to include Mannone (sp?) at half time and full time, and also had RK saying his favourite line 'this is football'.
doddisalegend Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 I love that the club hires blokes whose job seems to be high fiving our players at every opportunity.
John Boy Saint Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 What's with the three kisses? All my Italian relatives just give two on each cheek. It's a Dutch thing, 3 kisses just for good friends.
yellow&blue Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Sammy Lee seems a little bit excited to be handing in the team sheets at 3:53..........
CB Saint Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 It's a Swiss thing isn't it? The wife's Swiss relatives go for three
Jonnyboy Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 What's with the three kisses? All my Italian relatives just give two on each cheek. I knew it, you're related to Cortese!
angelman Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Nice to see KL down there beaming. And a nice touch to let the Feyernoord supporters into the dressing room. Too often clubs are too distant from fans, and I thought it was a nice touch for the Dutch supporters.
S-Clarke Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Loved the touch at the end with Pelle meeting the Feyernoord fans. No harm in that, and everyone appreciated it.
jasonb Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Do I say goal number eight? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Wes Tender Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Love how there is now a massive picture of Victor just outside the away dressing room I suspect that there has been some input into the psychology of the opposing players seeing greatly enlarged images of our players on the walls on the way into and out of their changing rooms. Intimidating for them and a boost for our players to see their images on the walls at the same time.
Saxon Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 I love that the club hires blokes whose job seems to be high fiving our players at every opportunity. always always makes me chuckle. All your can hear in the hallways is the slapping of hands coming together in hi-fives! Its a complete racket! They don't even talk much, its just hands together haha.
Hockey_saint Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 Nice to actually hear Katharina's voice too (said in a totally non-stalker way you understand)
GarrettIvo Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 I bloody love these videos. Definitely better after a win as has been said. It is a dream of mine to get to St Mary's some time in the next couple of years, but watching these videos is a very good "next best thing".
Halo Stickman Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 I suspect that there has been some input into the psychology of the opposing players seeing greatly enlarged images of our players on the walls on the way into and out of their changing rooms. Intimidating for them and a boost for our players to see their images on the walls at the same time. Agree Wes, those photos on the wall are excellent psychology – whoever is responsible take a bow.
Golden Balls Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 The amount of high-fiving is ridiculous. Really nice touch for the club to allow the Dutch supporters in. What a game to come to! Pellé seems like a really decent bloke too.
jasonb Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 Agree Wes, those photos on the wall are excellent psychology – whoever is responsible take a bow. As is the WE MARCH ON painted overhead at the entrance to the tunnel leading to the pitch! Very motivational and inspiring. Although the WE MARCH ON is a relitively new slogan introduced by the club, can anyone remember what was on the wall at the entrance to the pitch at the Dell? I seem to recall something along the lines of 'You are now entering the Dell' but not sure?

Griffo Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 I wonder which part of the ground they were filming for the goal celebrations. Don't understand how so many people can just put their arms in the air, give a quick cheer and then just stand there clapping. Especially when smashing someone like on Saturday.
Whitey Grandad Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 The amount of high-fiving is ridiculous. Really nice touch for the club to allow the Dutch supporters in. What a game to come to! Pellé seems like a really decent bloke too. Yes, ridiculous. It should be high-eighting.
FloridaMarlin Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 The obvious warmth and enthusiasm with which Kat greets Ronnie is possibly one of the most important and encouraging things seen at the club for many a year. She is loving every minute of it and while things can change, at the moment she is clearly committed to the club, the project, and her dad's legacy. Neither is she an aloof owner. I'm not sure many owners leg it down to the tunnel area to greet the manager. It's not a thing they have to do, but the fact she does it probably reassures Ronnie and makes him realise he made the right decision. She has caught the bug.
Ohio Saint Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 (edited) Didn't all that psyche stuff start with Liverpool's "This is Anfield" sign on the entrance to the pitch? Anyway, it's on an entirely different level these days! That was highly entertaining, and the team looks genuinely happy to be there, and overall decent folk. If and when I finally manage to get there for a game, I will arrive stupid early just to drink in all the boring stuff before the game that they never had back in the day! Oh yeah, and Pelle seems to have time for everyone!!! Love that guy!! Edited 21 October, 2014 by Ohio Saint
scotty Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 It's a Dutch thing, 3 kisses just for good friends. Yep, my dutch neighbour does the three kisses, my italian mrs does two.
Ohio Saint Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 Yep, my dutch neighbour does the three kisses, my italian mrs does two. Even in France it's a regional thing. Where I used to live, it was one on each cheek and a snog on the knob. (Maybe I was just dreaming)
pappalotti Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 Yes it is dutch to give three kisses. And yes, what a day it was. I was it with my daughter after the game in the dressing room. We flew over from Holland to see a match of Southampton. We could never dream it went this way. What a day! Great game and wat a surprise afterwards. We took our pellet flag and pelle recognized it from Rotterdam. Koeman saw our feyenoord shirts and they invited us in. WOW. My daughter is still flying And the saints are in our hearts

Bearsy Posted 21 October, 2014 Posted 21 October, 2014 I always watch out for the eggman. Who is the eggman, and what is his role? I also like seeing Sammy Lee's cock-bulge in his skin-tight leggings.
redkeith Posted 22 October, 2014 Posted 22 October, 2014 It was nice to see the Dutch fans treated so well. Also, it was interesting to see the looks on the Sunderland players faces when they arrived and saw the murals. The giant Pelle picture ( still not as big as the real thing) scared the hell out of them.
Griffo Posted 22 October, 2014 Posted 22 October, 2014 What do you expect them to do? It got a little boring after 8 goals, don't think I even cheered the 8th, just laughed. Ok, what about the first then? People just standing there clapping. Strange.
Whitey Grandad Posted 22 October, 2014 Posted 22 October, 2014 Ok, what about the first then? People just standing there clapping. Strange. Own goal innit. Not polite to celebrate when you haven't scored it yourself. It was a beautiful strike so it was only fair to applaud the quality of the finish.
S-Clarke Posted 22 October, 2014 Posted 22 October, 2014 Great to see Jaidi still involved. I think he's some sort of Ambasidor isn't he? (as well as a coach for the U18's). Such a good lad. Another great Pardew signing, it has to be said! (although anyone at our level with a bit of dosh would have attempted to sign him at the time..!)
ART Posted 22 October, 2014 Posted 22 October, 2014 Today's local rag had a guide to the number of kisses on gives in different regions of France.

niceandfriendly Posted 22 October, 2014 Posted 22 October, 2014 Nice to actually hear Katharina's voice too (said in a totally non-stalker way you understand) Where was this? I watched it but can't recall hearing her speak or even seeing her although my internet connection was acting up at the time
