Think that ship has sailed with the signing of Long. Plus I suspect if he is available on a free in the summer then he moves to a bigger club in January for a knockdown fee or just waits until the summer to get a bigger wage etc. Could see him at Spurs or Liverpool.

No-one will come in for him in Jan, but he may well be off next summer. I don't think he's done enough to get either Liverpool or Spurs interested.

I'd take him, especially if it was on a free. Don't be fooled by his goal soring record in the prem, Burnley aren't set out to score goals. Put him in our team and I think he'd do a job.
