S-Clarke Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Ah, down the bare bones again f'sure. I can see him walking, but it won't be his fault.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 I can't blame him for trying to come up with the excuses to absolve himself of any blame, but I just don't understand the hold he has over the press who continue to hold him up as some sort of good Manager.
Lets B Avenue Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Sounds like Sweep was translating his good old coc-ker nee answers? Sooty must have been the cameraman.
Gemmel Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 The guy is a *****. Compare his teams passing to ours yesterday and they look liked amateurs> yet according to arry they played out of their skins. They didn't they were awful. The late goal flurry made it exciting, but the reality is they were still ****e. Bizarrely I think we will end up fighting Liverpool for 7th and results like that wont help us.
Clapham Saint Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Towards the beginning of the interview "you don't always get what you deserve in life" No Harry, sometimes you can convince the jury to let you off.
Graffito Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Shades of our relegation season under Redknapp; conceding late goals, the blaming of everything and everyone else by the person who should be showing some leadership. He's losing it in that interview just like his team is losing it on the pitch. One way or another his days are numbered.
Turkish Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 "Ain't no one who can do any better than me 'ere" Noted.
angelman Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Dead man walking?? Keep hearing Sherwood being mooted. Then they have Hoddle there and Sir Les turns up (which Arry has no idea what for).
Dalek2003 Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 I can see 'Arry giving up soon. Far too stressed out.
Lets B Avenue Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 I can see 'Arry giving up soon. Far too stressed out. Why? Aren't they a "yo-yo" club
Saint_clark Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 7 players out and 2 players in before their Ireland tour last summer...is he seriously suggesting that last season in the Championship they only had 17 outfield players in their squad?

Saint_clark Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Reminds me of when Pompey loaned youngsters out then named 3 subs on their bench to try and get their transfer ban overturned.
beatlesaint Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 I can't blame him for trying to come up with the excuses to absolve himself of any blame, but I just don't understand the hold he has over the press who continue to hold him up as some sort of good Manager. Totally agree. Be interesting to see if the old Harry Houdini line comes out again......
Dalek2003 Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Why? Aren't they a "yo-yo" club I think we have put our 'yoyo' strategy in the filing cabinet.
Clapham Saint Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 7 players out and 2 players in before their Ireland tour last summer...is he seriously suggesting that last season in the Championship they only had 17 outfield players in their squad? He should speak to whoever was QPR manager last season and ask them why they didn't do anything to sort the squad out sooner.
angelman Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 He's not too fond of Abel Trabbt Guess not. But saying he is 3 stone overweight is either going to royally **** the player of and/or reflect on the manager's inability to get the players fit. See Robbie Savage has (rightly) expressed surprise that the players aren't fit enough given where we are in the season.
Badger Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 'Arry does sound like the Alf Garnett of football management...
Wrensup Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Guess not. I always enjoy hearing a pundit actually call out 'arry on the things he says.
scotty Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Poor old f*cker. Senile dementia is a terrible thing.
Pamplemousse Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 7 players out and 2 players in before their Ireland tour last summer...is he seriously suggesting that last season in the Championship they only had 17 outfield players in their squad? To be fair, in addition to the 7 who joined new clubs, 2 players from last season's squad retired, and they also had 8 players in on loan in that squad. So in total, 17 players left the club in some form or another before their Ireland tour.
Patrick Bateman Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 What an utter tool, can definitely see him walking before Christmas.
scotty Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 What an utter tool, can definitely see him getting sacked before Christmas. Fixed.
Patrick Bateman Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Fixed. Nah, that doesn't happen to Harry, he's 'triffic and he'll walk due to the unreasonable nature of not having 493 players available to him.
CB Saint Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 When the last goal went in, he started twitching so much, I thought he would dislocate his neck.
cellone Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Love these two little clips Love the first one, Cheers for that bud.
Smirking_Saint Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 Tbh I hate everything about QPR, so its quite nice to see them ****ing it all up I actually dont mind 'arry, atleast he is a bit of a character, a bellend yes but a character. He wont last till christmas though at this rate, and if they hire Sherwood they wont last much longer after !! Think itll be hoodle though
Third Division South Days Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 What an utter tool, can definitely see him walking before Christmas. Harry never walks. When he was sacked at Tottenham he wouldn't leave the building until the redundancy package was sorted
Lets B Avenue Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 2.56. " I don't buy newspapers. I don't even read them." No. You just have a weekly column in them for which you "don't get nuffink for". Q. did the Barrister who prosecuted him ever work again?
angelman Posted 19 October, 2014 Posted 19 October, 2014 When did he say this? I always enjoy hearing a pundit actually call out 'arry on the things he says. He said it before today's interview though..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29638128
hutch Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Poor old f*cker. Senile dementia is a terrible thing. When I think of him and Hodgson having a chat, I get this image of Mel Smith and Griff Rhys-Jones
hasper57saint Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Nothing's changed. He continues to expose his own players by name to the media!
Saint_Tony Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 To think the majority (as poor as Hodgson has been) wanted 'arry as England manager. Not sure how his lack of players and money would have worked as an excuse then
angelman Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 To think the majority (as poor as Hodgson has been) wanted 'arry as England manager. Not sure how his lack of players and money would have worked as an excuse then I will confess, after the latest round of games that were soporifically boring, plus with my Saints tinted glasses thinking Woy had made a **** poor decision re Chambers/Clyne, I thought maybe 'Arry would have been the better choice. But then you see the post match interview yesterday and you realise what a plank 'Arry is and be grateful he has a suitable job and not that of the national team.
Dellman Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Why are all the prominent English managers such old fashioned moronic bores, we call them true 'football men' but they are like dinosaurs compared with Koeman, Poch and the new generation abroad, it's sad to see 'Arry like he has dementia and still carrying on
ART Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 How many other 68 year old Premier League managers drive 300 odd miles to work and back every day, getting up at 5.30am and arriving home in the dark every night. I'd be twitching too. QPR played their socks of yesterday against "Pool and were really unlucky to lose so late on. Doesn't matter what we all think of him, the man's a legend and will be talked about for years to come. He's far from being senile and showed he was well aware of everyone and everything going on around him whilst replying instantly to every question asked. Bringing in Rio was a huge mistake but Les Ferdinand will get the results with QPR just as Teddy Sheringham is doing at West Scam. For this Harry looks after his mates and knows what he'd up to just like Reed and Koeman brought in the genius of Sammy Lee. We are all delighted with Koeman but how many have given any credit to Sammy Lee behind the scenes. Behind the scenes we have the engine room of the great Liverpool sides of yester year. Everyone will miss Harry when he's not around, and all he brings to the game in his own peculiar way. Knowing now our financial situation back when Lowe brought him in, and the specter of having Woodward hoving over his every move, it's a miracle Harry hung around as long as he did. He gets the blame for what was clearly the fault of Lowe, Woodward and the freaks they brought in. Let's see come the end of the season where QPR end up and whether Redknapp does indeed turn it around.
Cascadia Saint Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 "I keep hearing every day how good these players are and this was an opportunity for them," he said. "They knock on my door and ask when they'll get a chance. Well, they've shown me what they can do, so they shouldn't knock on my door again" League cup, sept 2005. Harry throws the youngsters to the wolves, spitefully claims that they are crap and everyone should stop pressuring him to play them. Out of of the myriad reasons to loathe that man, this one still ****es me off. What an absolute arsehole.

The round before that we had won 3-0 away again with a young team and he slagged them off them too. Saying we were lucky to win and didn't deserve it.
Dellman Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 True! He hadn't the first idea how to use our academy, he just bought and sold in the market, he wasn't a coach or a person with a strategy, and he still isn't.
Cascadia Saint Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 The round before that we had won 3-0 away again with a young team and he slagged them off them too. Saying we were lucky to win and didn't deserve it. Exactly! He had no interest at all. The team for the 2nd round game we lost against Mansfield was: Smith Matt Mills Delap Kenton Baird Cranie Folly Dyer McCann Blackstock Kenwyne Jones McGoldrick and Theo came on as subs.
Batman Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 The round before that we had won 3-0 away again with a young team and he slagged them off them too. Saying we were lucky to win and didn't deserve it. Ironically, arry was sat on one of the best academies in world football. Maybe those players were not quite ready but his attitude of those youngsters was completely dismissive
Convict Colony Posted 20 October, 2014 Posted 20 October, 2014 Tabarrat has just made him look stupid in tomorrow's daily fail. Pic of him showing his stomach and says he is at his fighting weight. Also says Harry never takes a session and spend all day in his office on the phone before maybe popping out for 5/10mins. He also says they never learn a strategy for pressing or winning the ball and that Hoddle and Ferdinand like him but Harry won't listen to anyone. I think Harry's 9 lives maybe up.
