Should Saints bring a DVD out of today?

It's often the butt of jokes to play down one team's win "when's the DVD coming out then?" but we have one for the 6-3 over United and the two 3-2 wins over Arsenal and probably a few more.

Brighton and Skatesmuff are pretty tinpot for bringing out DVDs of beating us 3-1 and 4-1 but surely 8-0 warrants one? Joint 2nd best highest PL win in history, Saints biggest top flight (and therefore Premier League) win in history. If they start now they could have it out in time for Christmas!

Do it, Saints!

Tough one.

On the one hand its significant as it is a moment of history if nothing else, but on the other you can't possibly win 8-0 in the Premiership without the opponents being utterly, utterly terrible regardless of how good you were.

The match was a lot like the Brazil - Germany game in the World Cup. Again, the winning team put their opponents to the sword very well indeed, but it was mainly down to the combination of fear, panic, shock and players desperately wanting to hide that really is a completely immobilising combination in any sport (you see it in batting collapses, as well as in Tennis in particular (obviously a 1-on-1 sport means these things are more common)).

The clubs too slow, I got Rodders and Micky Pearce round here last night with their camcorder from Rodney's art project he did a few years ago. They filmed the tv when it was on match choice and now we've got a suitcase full of top quality DVDs to sell down the market today, yours for just £9.99!

I'd probably buy it.

On a similar note, have there been season reviews for the last few seasons? I know we stopped doing them in league one (which really annoyed me).

They didn't do one for the first year in league one but I have the season reviews for every year since on my shelves.

And DVD for this match? Yes, has to be.
