Can't stand referee's that allow defenders to climb all over a striker just because the striker is a big build. We've had to see this **** week in and week out since we signed Lambert. It's a foul.

Well, that first half has exceeded any expectations I may have had about this game.

Sunderland look OK going forward but some dreadful defending has handed the points to us on a plate.

Best OG I have ever seen. That's going to get replayed forever on sports blooper programs.

Possibly should have been a pen for them, but then we should have had one just before the OG as well, so they can't really complain. Although if the ref had given it he would also have had no choice but to send off Forster, who just made himself a big obstacle rather than making any deliberate attempt to foul the player.

Difficult to give my full, objective analysis of the performance so far because my stream has been very suspect and I think I have probably spent more time watching the buffering icon than I have watching actual football.

agree. you see them given. Had FF went for the ball with his feet, he probably would have gone off

I think Franny's diving header is still my favourite even if it was obviously for us!

As with all others with problem streams - consider Anal Probe!

At the game, Davis, Clyne and Long have been excellent- they have looked ok going forward but shocking at the back

Tadic looked brilliant watching online

Forster vs. Fletcher was never going to be a red card, as there was no goal scoring opportunity - when Fletcher went down, the ball was already going out of play. Maybe there was a penalty though. It's very difficult to judge from a dodgy stream but I'm inclined to agree with 5string (post #76: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?52076-Southampton-v-Sunderland-Match-Thread&p=2067413#post2067413).

So debatable penalty but never a sending off...

Some lovely link up play in the final third... fancy us to get another couple if we can keep this up.

We have so pretty good run of games between now and then end of November. Great chance to get some serious points on the board.

Mannone saved it and I don't think it would've gone in but for Bridcutt's contact, so that'll be an OG.

No, scratch that, it was going in anyway...

Long doesn't look too happy. Miserable git

Well he wants to open his account and it sounds like this game could have been a very good chance to do so.
