LJSaint Posted 8 October, 2014 Share Posted 8 October, 2014 I have been desperate for Saints games to be broadcast on DAB for years but Solent seem to prefer P***y over us for some reason. Does anyone know I can listen to live saints commentary online. I have tried the TuneIn radio app and searching google but have hit a blank. Anyone got an easy way of getting saints commentary online without paying for subscriptions etc? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Honestly the subscription to Saints player (if that's your only possibility) is so ridiculously low that it's not worth wasting time and effort looking for other solutions. Saw many of us through the wilderness L1 and NPC years. You can always watch the PL games online anyway. Free as a rule. I've had it fail a few times but generally good.
Saint_clark Posted 8 October, 2014 Share Posted 8 October, 2014 I actually think Saintsplayer is a total waste of money nowadays. Find a free stream and, if you don't want to watch it, just turn the volume up and listen to the commentary.
LJSaint Posted 8 October, 2014 Author Share Posted 8 October, 2014 How do I find online each game never heard of this. Is it legit? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Saint_clark Posted 8 October, 2014 Share Posted 8 October, 2014 I use a website called wiziwig, lists a load of options for you. http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?part=sports&discipline=football When Saints are playing just find the game listed and click on "live" on the right next to it, then find a stream that works. (Look for ones that say "flash", anything else usually requires some sort of software download).

Same, but you have to watch out for the quality of some of the streams,if you're not careful you'll find yourself with a Kazakh brides catalogue flashing up about every thirty seconds or so from here to eternity. I use that system and go for firstevents, couple of french car adverts for 20 seconds or so and then you get uninterupted match for the rest of the afty. Nortonsafe picks up the dodgy ones in a flash but it's usually those that tell you that your media player needs updating, it doesn't as a rule, the MP update is loaded with bolloaks that you don't really want..unless of course you do fancy a bulgarian fiancée for about 30£. The problem with streams is you are relying on finding a good enough stream. Easy enough usually and I don't often have too much trouble finding one, but not always possible. What I do is have the stream going on mute and listen to Saintsplayer. That way you get to see the game and listen to commentary that is biased towards Saints...very rare to get that elsewhere. Plus you have the radio commentary as a backup if you can't find a stream.

KingdomCome Posted 8 October, 2014 Share Posted 8 October, 2014 Isn't sound/video syncing a problem? Usually out by a second or two but it doesn't bother me to be honest. You can play about with it to fix the sync until it's barely noticeable if needs be though.
LJSaint Posted 11 October, 2014 Author Share Posted 11 October, 2014 Thanks for the comments all. Sorry for late reply. Blooming forum will only let me post 3 times a day. Not gonna pay! Ha. ?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hamilton Saint Posted 11 October, 2014 Share Posted 11 October, 2014 I actually think Saintsplayer is a total waste of money nowadays. Find a free stream and, if you don't want to watch it, just turn the volume up and listen to the commentary. I disagree strongly with this. I have subscribed to SP for many years. I get to hear a live commentary for every game. And there are usually highlights, or extended highlights, posted a couple of days after each match. Sometimes, they also will post an entire game on there, which is great! As far as free streams go, on the many times I've tried to find an acceptable stream, I've had no luck. The feed invariably stops and starts. It's just too frustrating to deal with.
LJSaint Posted 11 October, 2014 Author Share Posted 11 October, 2014 Does Saints Player work on mobile or is there an ios app? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
saintstriumph Posted 13 October, 2014 Share Posted 13 October, 2014 I use first row sports. There was always a problem with a lot of adds before you watch the game, but now I have got a free add blocker it works great every game I can't go to. Bucks Saint Posted 13 October, 2014 Share Posted 13 October, 2014 Last weekend I used http://streamsp.com/ This is a Singapore TV channel, with English commentators and English pundits at half time. HD quality picture, free, no freezing and only a couple of very minor Ads. What I dont know is whether our game was just on because it was an unusual kick off time / day, so question whether we will always be on at 3pm Sat
