Driving Lessons

To my shame I turn 23 in less than 2 months and don't have my driving license. I'm a complete beginner, have driven for maybe about 5 minutes sum total (no crashes though, woot!) and i'm looking to knuckle down and hopefully get qualified by Christmas without having to pay for an expensive intensive course.

Can anyone here recommend a driving school/instructor? I've looked at a couple of websites but thought I might ask here first to see if there's any tips.

This is the place to come for for all sorts of advice young Michael!

My driving instructor was a proper bellend, I can't remember his name, on the day of my test he turned up In a different car which due to being inexperienced I kept on stalling on my test which stressed me out and of course I failed that one. I sacked him and moved to BSM, the guy also a bit of a bellend, but a good instructor and I passed after about 5 lessons with him.

Around the same time my incumbent girlfriend at the time was learning to drive and she got asked out to dinner by her instructor who was about 25 years older and told her had a fetish for painted toenails.

Summary, driving instructors are bellends, dirty old men with weird fetishes.

Be careful my friend.

I don't have any friends apart from you lot on here, so I tend to just ask for advice here instead ;)

I would recommend Wynne's School of Motoring. Eastleigh based, saw me through my test 11 years ago and I still see them around Winchester.
