Okay, I'm off for a half time lucky sh*t. It will likely sting a bit from the chili sauce I had on my lamb Donner last night. I am not sure if this brings extra luck, I guess we will find out.

P.S. You aren't a real man until you've read a Machine Mart catalog whilst taking a dump.

Spurs have been by far the better team, their attacking 3 have pressed and worked and bossed the game, Erikksen has had so much space, Poch getting that pressing game were all so familiar with

Need a Koeman half time rocket, Schniederlin and Wanyama have been poor

Have to give credit to Spurs. They have swarmed all over us, like MP teams do

And if I remember correctly from last season, we found it awkward when teams did the same back to us. No real Plan B from Poch.

2nd half tactic, maybe?

A combination of Tottenhams best half and a distinctly average one by our recent performances BUT we are still in the race at half time so hopefully we can come out in the 2nd half and play better as they will certainly not keep up the pace that they played the first half at for sure

Good shout.

To do that we need to be far quicker with the ball. Their one touch passing is moving us all over the place. Nothing new what we are seeing I guess

Wanyama getting penalised for being to strong for adebayor

Yep, ridiculous. Earlier in the half Mane and a Spurs player went shoulder to shoulder and Mane stayed on his feet and shrugged him off, no foul was given. Wanyama has gone shoulder to shoulder twice, outmuscled the Spurs player and been penalised both times. It's f*cking ridiculous.

Was it just me or was there a handball from that Tadic freekick when it hit the wall? Stream wasn't great but looked like it deflected off the hands of the player. If so, really f*cking annoying - that should be handball all day long, and I specifically remember us having a penalty given against us for that a few years back.

I honestly didn't think we were THAT bad. Spurs were very good and we were just...OK.

FFS - Wanyama getting penalised every time he makes a tackle.

HT. Spurs undoubtedly been the better team but we have had two or three chances which we might have done better with. A bit lucky we're only one goal behind after Chadli hit the post when he really should have scored, but Koeman has shown already this season that he has the tactical nous to make the right changes when things aren't going our way.

If we can get a goal back before conceding again then I still reckon we can get something out of this game, because Poch has been critical of the pace that his team has been playing at so far this season and I doubt they can keep up this tempo for 90+ minutes.

Should be an interesting second half.

I don't understand why Mané has pushed inside when Naughton's replacement, Dyer, is so much slower. Our way back into his game can be with our pace down that flank but not if Mané stays inside.

Spurs have played well but they've had to work really hard to do it. I think they could be there for the taking in the last 20 minutes.

Nobody's really playing badly, but nobody's having a good game either, least of all the ref. Should be at least 1 yellow per side, and any time Wanyama makes any kind of tackle it's a freekick.

I would expect to see a change at HT, either Cork or Long coming on.

Ron will sort it out in the break, no worries lads.

I'd normally feel pessimistic at this stage, but pochettino will have drained spurs with his training. I reckon we might shaft them in the last 15 mins when they get sh*gged out, like we always did under poch.

One thing I really don't like about Pelle is he seems a bit overly selfish. It doesn't matter if the balls passed to him and he messes it up, passed somehwere else or the move dies out, he invariably ends up moaning at the rest of the team. Then today he literally MOVES IN THE WAY of Schneiderlin having a clear shot at goal from 6 yards and deflects it for a goal-kick, and shoots from 20 yards rather than sliding it through for Davis who was free on goal.

Agree with all that mate...but you know the reaction on here not always a true reflection

I guess goals like the one last week come at a price, poor for me today and Tadic needs to get inside more, going to bring nothing much out wide, Mané is too greedy.

So you aren't sure you saw handball but it was handball all day long?

Personally I'm not sure if we were robbed but we've been, well, robbed.

Bit of a nothing game from us really, we've not been bad, we've just not really done anything.

Spurs have played well, their press is causing is to drop really deep. Working exactly as it is supposed to work.

Midfield being pushed out of the game and played around, need to sort that at HT.

"If so". As in, if it DID hit his hands then that's handball all day long, but I know some people would say it's not because he didn't mean to touch it.

Personally thought the ref has been fairly solid tbh. Consistent with Rose and Bertrand, advantage for Mane, no pen against us for possible handball. Think he has been decent. Sometimes favours the attacker who goes down to easily but is consistent in that and has overall had a decent game so far.

Saints need to step it up second half and attack them. Showing too much fear atm.

In koeman we trust though, and ultimatley even if we lose this game its not the biggest deal. We are very unlikey to come anywhere near the top 4 positions, so an away defeat against a top 6 side isn't exactly a disaster lets be honest.

Expecting us to step it up second half however.
