ozzmeister Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 So were through in spectacular fashion, the drawer is after the matches today. So who do we want, strong sides left in look to be Liverpool, city and probably Chelsea and Tottenham after today. Is there any fear from these so called big teams, I think on our day we could give any a good game! However I wouldn't mind some lower teams first to thin the field, maybe shrews or bompey at home??
Matthew Le God Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 So who do we want? The same I want in every cup draw... the easiest team at St Mary's so Saints have the best possible chance of winning the competition. In this case that would probably be Shrewsbury Town at home.
altoniansaints Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 A nice home game against lower league team for me let's leave the "big boys" till the semis
Saintandy666 Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 We have to expect another 'big' team eventually. Wouldn't mind Milton Keynes or something like that. Clubs we have a very high chance of beating basically (as long as we put out the right team obvs).
Matthew Le God Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Is the draw live on TV? Yes, its on Sky Sports after the Spurs vs Forest game.
Saint Garrett Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Fulham or franchise away. Or Shrewsbury at home. Wouldn't mind Bompey at home either.
Appy Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Game against a lower league side with the big boys drawing each other would be perfect.
doddisalegend Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Listening to spuds v forest on the radio. Harding and Fox both in the Forest defence hoping the old saints boys can embarrass Mopo;)
Whitey Grandad Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Hmm, I've never been to Shrewsbury...
doddisalegend Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 What's that on Danny Fox's chin? Lallana's old beard?
Sour Mash Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Shrewsbury or similar at home. Progress into the next round the priority.
Whitey Grandad Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Arsenal away would be nice Yes, it was:)
doddisalegend Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Gaston Injured again? not in the hull team at all tonight as far as I can tell.
Appy Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Gaston Injured again? not in the hull team at all tonight as far as I can tell. Cup tied.
doddisalegend Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Cup tied. Oh yeah cheers.......... forgot he played at Millwall:mcinnes:
Saint86 Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Liverpool at home.... Nothing else even matters
Minsk Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 The same I want in every cup draw... the easiest team at St Mary's so Saints have the best possible chance of winning the competition. In this case that would probably be Shrewsbury Town at home. This. Can never understand why anyone would want anything different (apart from, maybe, if they live far from Southampton and want a local fixture).
St Chalet Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Home tie, fancy beating anyone bar City and Chelsea.
Edmonton Saint Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 anyone get me a free link to sky sports so I can watch the draw please?
Edmonton Saint Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 and I have looked into my crystal ball, And we will be playing the MK Dons in the next round. Not a bad tie to be fair.

Saints foreva Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Winnable and that's all that matters.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 W**k draw but a chance to dispose of another Premier rival, I suppose.
doddisalegend Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Not great could be worse hell if we can beat arsenal we can beat stoke.
Saint Charlie Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 So we play Stoke twice in a few days. Crap really.
buctootim Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Winnable and that's all that matters. They all are, just not as winnable as Shrewsbury at home.
Saintandy666 Posted 24 September, 2014 Posted 24 September, 2014 Uninspiring, but winnable at least. But still tricky. I'd prefer uninspiring and easier.
