still quite a few tickets left for this game, the new ticket website is slightly confusing as blocks coloured red are just low availability rather than sold out, so tickets still available in virtually every block.

the Itchen North corner is an odd one with loads of seats available in blocks 1, 2 and 3.

QPR sold initial 2245 and have put a further 600 on sale earlier this week, can't see them selling all of those but around 2500 of them will help boost the crowd towards 30k.

interesting the club seem to be acknowleding that incentives need to be used for some games with season ticket holders being offered to buy extra discounted tickets for Stoke at home in the Chapel stand.

I think talk of us going top is unlikely, chelsea are 3 points clear with better goal difference and goals scored .

Redknapp can be quite pragmatic when he wants to be, I expect QPR to adopt a men behind the ball approach and if they fluke their way to a result this will be reviewed on MOTD as Redknapp Schools Koeman In Tactical Masterclass and Ferdinand Rolling Back The Years.

That said I think the twin goal threat of Nathaniel Clyne and Jack Cork will be too hot to handle, and I'm predicting the Lawrenson: 2-0 pls!

I don't go along with all the Redknapp hatred, he took us down ten years ago FFS. I just want us to win like any other game.

There are some on here who burst into tears about a cup tie 30 years ago every time the word 'Everton' is mentioned.

'Arry on the other hand can p*ss off. As dodgy as a £9 note.

I can't believe some still would puck Cork over Wanyama. I don't get it , I like Cork think he's a very good player but no way is he a better better DM than Vic.

Still think it depends who we play, if we're playing against a team where we need to move the ball quickly against, then I'd pick Corky, but a game like Arsenal, its Vic all day long. There is room for both of them though.

Such a tough call in central midfield these days. Morgan is a cert, than take your pick from Big Vic, Cork and Davis.

Would be tempted to go with VW holding, Morgan and Cork ahead of him. If Barton and Sandro both miss out, would hope that three would be stronger, quicker, more hard working and we can utilise Morgan and Cork's sudden goal threat a little further forward (well, Morgan's anyway, Cork hopefully won't be waiting another three years for a goal, but i doubt he's about to become a regular scorer).

With Tadic, long and Pelle in attack, that should cause a hell of a lot of problems to a creaky defence.

This Victor is a unit but when Cork plays we seem to move the ball better and quicker. Horses for courses I don't know why people think it has to be one or the other during a season we need to utilise both of them.

No surprise but the QPR fans aren't feeling to confident 5-0 to saints seems to be the average on their predictions thread

http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/showthread.php?183326-Southampton-predictions/page3

Can't blame them everything points to a Saints win which makes me rather nervous that we will lose 0-1 (scored by that **** Austin). The problem with saints doing well is they are increasing my expectations I didn't have any at the start of the season now I'm dreaming of saints thrashing QPR and Villa causing an upset against Chelsea to put saints top.........

I would start Mane. Needs games to get used to his teammates and vice versa, and in a game where they will probably sit back and look to frustrate, his pace and movement could be the difference.

Long is a striker, so lets use him from the bench in that position.

Targett had 2 players on him in second half v Arsenal, Mane didn't help him out. Long works as hard as any pro I've seen. He'll start on Saturday. Mane needs to get acquainted with his role. That said, he looks decent.

Very interesting watching Redknapp on this video.

His body language does him no favours and says it all.

Obviously I am biased but some of the words that came to my mind watching him were

Tired, bored, [sparked nearly to life for almost a second when the golf was mentioned] Aloof to the modern world, Dinosauresq, fat, sleepy, slightly sly, etc.

I then tried watching it with a view to being impartial to see if I could get any positive impressions from him [unencumbered by what I know of the disappointing person that he is] but couldn't see not even one thing that could in any way bee seen as attractive or likeable. Even his sluggish attempts at Bonhomie with the journalist you could see was less genuine than the warmth in a dead stinking snake.

If we lose on Saturday I will have to leave early so the smugness exuding from him doesn't stick me to my seat.

Mane will get acquainted with his role by playing more. I fully expect him to start, Koeman seemed very happy with his impact from Tuesday night.

Yeah, the impression I got from Koeman is that he'll start - in fact I think he's been chomping at the bit to pick him. He's obviously fully fit as he's been playing regularly for Senegal in the last few weeks as well, so fitness isn't an issue. I'd stick with him, rather than bench him....but play him from the left from the start, he looked a little unsure on the right. (and isn't he a natural left sider anyway?)

We are playing QPR... fully expect Koeman to select Mane above Long; if you were Redknapp which would you fear most ?

Its the boring part of the season for Arry. No transfers, no brown envelopes, just bloody football matches. Gets others to do his coaching. His dog does his accounts. It must be frustrating and boring being Arry at the moment.

Well out of interest, I counted the green dots at 15:55 hours 25-09-14. There are 1,907 available seats. Take into account hospitality will be some 600 short, segregation, along with QPR not selling out, then right now around 30,000 would be the number. I presume there will be a few takers between now and kick off but we it will be around the 30,250 mark maximum.

PS. I can see green dots while I am writing this.

All joking aside. We don't sell out because it is too expensive. I hope the club recognise this and drop the prices next season.

I hope our players are all up for it, and not knackered through staying up till stupid o clock playing FIFA15 ;-)

How about a revamped version, of what has to be the worst song we ever had (I refused to sing it), the cringeworthy "We're staying up, with Harry and Jim"

God just typing it makes me want to vomit.

The new version, when we are cruising along 3 or 4 goals to the good, could be "You're going down, with Harry and Glenn"
