Give it to Ron Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 So Gazzaniga is in goal this afternoon, which means he probably won't be between the sticks up at Arsenal tomorrow night. Good practise for him though . #SaintsFCU21s team v @Everton: Gazzaniga, Mason, Debayo, Cook, Wood, Flannigan ©, Little, Rowe, Sims, McQueen, Seager. #
Bobbyboy Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 Presence of McQueen but no Isgrove maybe gives us a hint that Lloyd might be on the bench tomorrow. Reed also.
Bearsy Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 Targett also
SNOWY Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 No McCarthy, probably sensible with Yoshida & Toby possibly out this week.

I doubt he'll put out a low strength side against arsenal.

ART Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 (edited) On Southampton FC Twitter it says Long was playing 2nd half. Bit of a come down if true. Chris Long @Everton Edited 22 September, 2014 by ART
Matthew Le God Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 (edited) On Southampton FC Twitter it says Long was playing 2nd half. Bit of a come down if true. How have you jumped to the conclusion it was Shane Long? Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC 1h FT: After Seager cancelled out Grant's opener, a second-half brace from Long hands @Everton the win at Staplewood. #SaintsFCU21s [1-3] Chris Long is an Everton player. Lallana's Left Peg Posted 22 September, 2014 Share Posted 22 September, 2014 To be fair the clearest induction it wasn't Shane Long was that he scored.
david in sweden Posted 23 September, 2014 Share Posted 23 September, 2014 I think he'll try a couple of youngsters, maybe Reed and Targett ?.....but with Toby and Yoshida out, and no Stephens or Turnbull.... it looks like Gardos and Fonte at the back. He'll play Mane up front....for an hour ..and perhaps with Long or Tadic coming off the bench?. It's a good chance to use some Academy lads, but RK won't want to lose this game, with half of the Prem. sides already out of the competition. If we win this one, we'd look good for the SF's.
