krissyboy31 Posted 21 September, 2014 Posted 21 September, 2014 Alan Bernard Brazil Was at Portman Road he night he scored 5 goals against us. Of course he never mentions it!!
swannymere Posted 21 September, 2014 Posted 21 September, 2014 Ian Wright is the best player i've ever seen against Saints, all our defenders went into panic mode every time he got the ball, horrible git but truly brilliant.
kpturner Posted 21 September, 2014 Posted 21 September, 2014 Lukaku was poor last season playing for Everton, but the season before he was superb for West Brom. I seem to remember that he played down the right so that he was up against Danny Fox. Really not a fair contest and Fox ended up getting himself sent off for one of the latest tackles I remember. Agree with the comment about David James. He was superb playing for the Skates in the cup match in 2010. Surely to qualify as "notoriously unable to cope with" has got to involve more than one game? Same for Adrian Heath - he scored a goal against us in an FA Cup semi, but he wasn't anywhere near the OPs exacting requirement - although he/she nominated Lukaku so who knows!
saintadjg Posted 21 September, 2014 Posted 21 September, 2014 Ian Wright & Freidel are the ones who stick in my mind the most.
Batman Posted 21 September, 2014 Posted 21 September, 2014 Ian Wright back in the day Michael bridges tore us a new one. But that was just one game
Dan Johnson Posted 21 September, 2014 Posted 21 September, 2014 Paul dickov Andri kanchelskis Ronni rosential Soon dublin
Marsdinho Posted 22 September, 2014 Posted 22 September, 2014 Basically, any striker that played us 3 or more times in the 90's
SNOWY Posted 22 September, 2014 Posted 22 September, 2014 Neville Southwell was always a pain in the ar$e.
georgeweahscousin Posted 22 September, 2014 Posted 22 September, 2014 Malcolm Christie. For the record, in my first ever Saints game Ian Wright had an absolute stinker, even missing a penalty. Ripped us to pieces in every game against us subsequently though.

Badger Posted 28 September, 2014 Posted 28 September, 2014 Charlie Austin has a decent record against us. as proven again yesterday...
WealdSaint Posted 28 September, 2014 Posted 28 September, 2014 I think that Charlie Austin has made a little bit of history. Nobody else has scored against us in 3 divisions I think
Lorne Malvo Posted 28 September, 2014 Posted 28 September, 2014 There's only one answer to this question: Patrick Agyemang Agyemang 1 goal 1-1 PNE october 05 Agyemang 2 goals in 1 -5 PNE october 07 Agyemang 2 goals in 2 -3 QPR feb 08 Agyemang 1 goal in 1 -4 QPR september 08 Now playing for P****y... Hope we don't get them in the cup. Im sure he scored a last min winner at SMS against us, we battered Preston but they countered last minute and he put the ball in the onion bag. Must of been around 07/08.
Badger Posted 28 September, 2014 Posted 28 September, 2014 I think that Charlie Austin has made a little bit of history. Nobody else has scored against us in 3 divisions I think an interesting stat, but did he score against us for Burnley ?
Lighthouse Posted 28 September, 2014 Posted 28 September, 2014 Yep 2011 in championship 1-1 Draw . I think the home game that season is the only appearance against us he hasn't scored in. Scored against us at SMS when Pardew was in charge, then again in the JPT the next season and in the only League game he played. Then at Turf Moor the year after, then yesterday. I left him in my FF team deliberately for this weekend.
TheCholulaKid Posted 28 September, 2014 Posted 28 September, 2014 roger milford Thanks for the memory. I'll raise you - Gerald Ashby.
bender Posted 30 September, 2014 Posted 30 September, 2014 Carlton fuc.king Cole This. Most obvious example being that 2 - 3 defeat in Prem relegation season. 2 - 0 at half time. That was the game that sent us down for me.
