BT sports on Sky

I have ditched Virgin Media for sky, fed up with the internet speed not even getting to 50 meg when on the 150meg service and having to constantly turn the router on and off. How long does it take BT to be available on the sky box. The BT online sports channels were up and running straight away but nothing on the Sky box after 24 hrs

I get BT sport free on Sky (and online) as I have BT infinity BroadBand.

 

All I had to do was register my viewing card number on the BT website (my account area) and it was done pretty quickly

I did call BT yesterday to say it wasn't working on Sky, will have a look when I get home from work tonight and see it its working. Got a good deal on Infinity 2 from them plus, cheaper than Virgin plus the advantage of getting more footy, Moto GP etc.

Just hope you never have a serious problem with BT because their customer service is diabolical.

 

I've always found Sky pretty good.

If you are using Sky broadband and not BT's then you will not be eligible for free BT Sport. I am guessing that you may need to contact BT to update them that you have switched from Virgin to Sky.

I've just gone the other way... Ditching Sky for Virgin. Was fed up with getting 1MB download speeds most evenings and a Sky+hd box that was knackered (8 years old). They wouldnt give me a new one so Tivo here I come!

I did that a few years ago. Three TiVo boxes and fewer domestic arguments. Now I just need to get the Sky Sports and Sky Movies apps working...
