shirley precinct Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Has someone written 'I STILL CARE' in the sand? Cortese's handiwork, probably.
doddisalegend Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 head to head Pelle vs Bony http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/09/19/le-head-to-head-pelle-vs-bony-who-will-make-the-difference-on-sa/?
K,Billy's supersound Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Toby is out done a hamstring.
Batman Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Toby is out done a hamstring. out for how long?
Sour Mash Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Toby is out done a hamstring. Thanks for the update, s**t news indeed. That must have been very recent? Gardos likely to come in for him or Yoshida?
Patrick Bateman Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 head to head Pelle vs Bony http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/09/19/le-head-to-head-pelle-vs-bony-who-will-make-the-difference-on-sa/? Who writes these atrocious articles for "Here is the city" and what is "Here is the city"?
Saint Garrett Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Will take him out of FF team then. Cheers lbilly. Shame.
Toon Saint Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Not good, hopefully just a minor tweak and not a tear. Guessing Yoshi will come in given Gardos' lack of playing time, and probably Big Vic as well to firm up the back four. Should be a close game, I'm going 2-2.
scotty Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 3-1 Swansea. Don't see us getting any joy here, they've had a terrific start. I'd love to be proved wrong though. #bedwetter
dannysfc Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 I was thinking of going as I missed it last season so I guess I'll be watching GSS for the first 10-15 minutes as I'm busy tomorrow afternoon so I'll be checking my phone for updates for it so am hoping that Saints will get at least a Point/if not all 3 but am going to go for 2-2 I think but we'l see what happens! COYR!

mikec Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 If we win and Aston Villa lose against Arsenal then we'll go 2nd in the table - and we'd almost certanly stay there after Sunday's games thanks to our goal difference. I know it doesn't mean much as this stage but it would still be nice to see. Sorry about tempting fate and all that.
Whitey Grandad Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 out for how long? Booger. Aren't they normally 6 to 8 weeks?
doddisalegend Posted 19 September, 2014 Posted 19 September, 2014 Toby is out done a hamstring. Bugger.......... was the walk on the beach to strenuous? Still thought Yoshida had done a decent job in the first few games so no panic from me.
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Can't see us winning up there. Can't see us not scoring either. 3-1 Swansea, Dyer will score.
toe_punt Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Hopefully not out for long! No, Long is a forward. HTH
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Why wait until Dec/Jan until starting contract talks with Cork? Something is not adding up for me.....something we are not being told?
ratio_decidendi Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Why wait until Dec/Jan until starting contract talks with Cork? Something is not adding up for me.....something we are not being told? Give him a contract and he's got no incentive to work hard between now and January. Stop seeing that isn't there, it's just good business.
Dig Dig Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Give him a contract and he's got no incentive to work hard between now and January. Stop seeing that isn't there, it's just good business. Or he gets disillusioned and begins negotiating with other clubs from January re a free transfer next summer. Brilliant business.
Batman Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Booger. Aren't they normally 6 to 8 weeks? hopefully, its more precautionary rather than actually torn it. hopefully back next week against QPR Gardos will get his go
Saint Charlie Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Yoshida hasnt done much wrong to be 4th choice. Lots seem very certain it will be Gardos but the Liberty not the easiest place for a full PL debut.
Verbal Kint Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Why wait until Dec/Jan until starting contract talks with Cork? Something is not adding up for me.....something we are not being told? Harrison Reed. The only reason I can think of is they're worried about blocking his path
View From The Top Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Or he gets disillusioned and begins negotiating with other clubs from January re a free transfer next summer. Brilliant business. You whined all summer and despite looking an utter fuucckwit with your prediction of firesales and the like you're still whining about they way the club is run.
View From The Top Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Leaving shortly and hoping for a win, would settle for a draw but expect a loss.
Baird of the land Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Or he gets disillusioned and begins negotiating with other clubs from January re a free transfer next summer. Brilliant business. Yeah utter craziness imo. Puts us at risk of losing a great little player for nothing, when we could tie him down now. It's not as if he's ever not put in 100%.
Dig Dig Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 You whined all summer and despite looking an utter fuucckwit with your prediction of firesales and the like you're still whining about they way the club is run. I posted on a saints forum regarding several first team players being sold in quick succession and the detriment it may have on the team. I am now debating the logic behind waiting until January to start contract talks with Cork. I should try and adopt your policy of not caring either way (except for when it comes to what people you don't know write on a forum) you utter cretin.
Saint_clark Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 I think the december timeline is something Cork wanted. He probably wants to make sure he's a part of Koemans first team plans before tieing himself down long term - don't forget, he only left Chelsea to play games.
Saint Garrett Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Yeah utter craziness imo. Puts us at risk of losing a great little player for nothing, when we could tie him down now. It's not as if he's ever not put in 100%. Think only foreign clubs can talk to him in January. Think other clubs have to wait until June. However I'm not naive enough to think unofficial talks don't happen!
Andy Durman Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Dig Dig and View From The Top you are both no better than each other! Allow each other opinions. Its a forum. Sometime we are made to look very silly thats probably why we write on a forum rather than make the big decisions. Thank good.
Saint Charlie Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 I thought VFTT was a Stokie anyway?
Polaroid Saint Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Tis but four games in, I expect a tough match away today to opposition we normally fair well against. Swans v Saints has to be the main match up in the EPL today. Currently 3rd and 4th I would put money on them being next to each other in the league come May. Maybe 8th and 7th? I am sure both sets of fans would be very happy with that if it comes to pass. If Saints win well today I will revise my opinion of our start, but I expect an entertaining-ish start to the match but, ultimately, a cagey win for the welsh club, with Saints winning at home later in the season.
tpbury Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 We've played Liverpool and lost and they beat United. Both teams a lot of changes with good starts. Will be close COYS!
Saint Charlie Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Yoshida and JWP for Toby and Davis. Decent enough lineup, but nothing on the bench attack wise. Hopefully anothee 4-3-3 and not JWP advanced playing off Pelle.
ART Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 One site showing the Saints game is http://livesport4u.com/stream2.html Don't know what channel number yet. Make sure you clean out you cache/ history to get best results.
JoeShmoe Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Ward-Prowse for Davis. Hm... Davis was excellent last week
Saint_Tony Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Where's Toby? Line up looks very weak with JWP and Yoshida in, would be very surprised to get anything from the game. 3-1 Swansea
Wrensup Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Where's Toby? Line up looks very weak with JWP and Yoshida in, would be very surprised to get anything from the game. 3-1 Swansea Hamstring.
Saint Charlie Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Speaking after naming his team, @RonaldKoeman revealed that a minor hamstring issue is the reason for @AlderweireldTob’s absence. #saintsfc
Whitey Grandad Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Minor is good . A tweak and not a twang
St.JonB Posted 20 September, 2014 Posted 20 September, 2014 Any idea when we will see Mane? Would make our bench look a lot better.
