Spurs not saints?

I believe our friend monkfish is hinting that the people who want to buy Spurs were interested in us.

Given that he people who are interested in taking over Spuds are Cain Hoy who formally announced the launch of their operations yesterday, it is perhaps more than unlikely that they were interested in Saints.

Regardless of whatever monkfish means, I think it would be naive to think that the people behind that company would make their 1st sounding out to clubs the day that they announce their operations :)

Sky report says they 1st sounded out Spurs in December.

So you don't believe their official organisation paperwork. The organisation did not exist, so how did the organisation make an earlier approach? Maybe some individuals did, who knows.

I was hoping for some stars to go with the stripes.

Looks like Spurs not Saints.

Any comments Gemmel?

Well I have to admit, you had me confused for a while, but after a bit of searching, and going back through a few posts, I think I've caught up.

But just to make sure; You posted that some old suitors were interested in buying the "Not for Sale" Southampton Football Club. The owner of Southampton Football club then reinvested 50 odd million quid in the team and the would be buyers now want to buy Spurs?

LMFAO that's a pretty big goal shift.

So are you telling us that Cain Hoy wanted to buys Saints and was previously interested the last time round? I have to say it's not a name that I remember from those dark days.

I think I reached the right conclusion, with my original post on the subject.
