Noodles34 Posted 5 September, 2014 Posted 5 September, 2014 Saints related because it's about this site, but why does my iPad say it's 23.08 (which is right) but the post will be timed at 22.08, annoying on match thread more than anything.
Noodles34 Posted 5 September, 2014 Author Posted 5 September, 2014 Now it's right. After I logged in. Wtf?
Saint_Abroad Posted 5 September, 2014 Posted 5 September, 2014 Spent time in the Azores lately? Cookies and the like.
Noodles34 Posted 5 September, 2014 Author Posted 5 September, 2014 Definitely a login/logout thing, logged out and I went back an hour, weird, wish it worked in real life.
buctootim Posted 5 September, 2014 Posted 5 September, 2014 and I went back an hour, weird, wish it worked in real life. She'd never do it a second time
Noodles34 Posted 5 September, 2014 Author Posted 5 September, 2014 She'd never do it a second time You obviously never ****ed me
SarniaSaint Posted 5 September, 2014 Posted 5 September, 2014 Mine displays in EST year round which can be confusing going from Daylight Saving to regular time especially when you brits do it different to North America. But over he years have found that the time posted dont matter still the same BS
Alain Perrin Posted 6 September, 2014 Posted 6 September, 2014 If it says 23.08 now, I can confirm there's a problem.
hutch Posted 6 September, 2014 Posted 6 September, 2014 Logic says that in the absence of user data the site defaults to UTC.
John Boy Saint Posted 6 September, 2014 Posted 6 September, 2014 I went back an hour, weird, wish it worked in real life. Time travel does exist, just take the Eurotunnel from France to England and you arrive half an hour before you left France................ Weird
scotty Posted 6 September, 2014 Posted 6 September, 2014 Time travel does exist, just take the Eurotunnel from France to England and you arrive half an hour before you left France................ Weird Better yet, just catch the Red Funnel to Cowes and you'll go back 50 years.
Noodles34 Posted 6 September, 2014 Author Posted 6 September, 2014 Logic says that in the absence of user data the site defaults to UTC. That obviously explains everything
david in sweden Posted 7 September, 2014 Posted 7 September, 2014 Saints related because it's about this site, but why does my iPad say it's 23.08 (which is right) but the post will be timed at 22.08, annoying on match thread more than anything. .......might be something that wasn't properly programmed in the first place, as I had to adjust the time zone facility in my PC when it was new. Living in Sweden (1 hour difference) my PC is adjusted so that it automatically adjusts the time difference when posting to UK (or other countries), and even changes the time from CET to BST when required.
