CB Saint Posted 4 September, 2014 Posted 4 September, 2014 Anyone got a youtube link for this Other unique sporting records include 'Most red cards in a football match' which stands at 36 for all players and substitutes of the game between Atletico Claypole and Victoriano in Argentina!
Wes Tender Posted 4 September, 2014 Posted 4 September, 2014 Surely the record shouldn't stand, as it was wind assisted.
eelpie Posted 4 September, 2014 Posted 4 September, 2014 Boric should equally be honoured for conceding a goal to the longest strike in history.
sussexsaint Posted 4 September, 2014 Posted 4 September, 2014 Pretty sure we have stolen the record for 'most disastrous forecast' from Michael Fish as well

VectisSaint Posted 4 September, 2014 Posted 4 September, 2014 (edited) Does the record still stand? The Hibs goalkeeper scored similar goal in Scottish League earlier this season. Perhaps their pitch is smaller. Were the goals scored by Shilton (for Leicester against us) or Ray Clemence measured and found to be shorter? Thinking about it Shilts scored against us at The Dell, so it was probably only about 40 metres http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/scotland/28731459 Edited 4 September, 2014 by VectisSaint
