Obviously we won't know for a while yet, but just for fun, which do you think will turn out to be the best buy/loan?

Pelle

Tadic

Bertrand

Gardos

Alderweireld

Long

Forster

Mane

Taider ;)

I would say Tadic, but I have seen him play. I'm leaning toward Toby in terms of the difference he might make for us in the long term and value for money if we buy him.

No offence mate, but this is a daft question till we've seen them play a few times.

um...that's why I said it's too soon to tell and just for fun.

dont you have one that excites you more than others for some reason?

Koeman by a mile

Not sure who else we could of signed as manager but judging by some of the deadwood that is out there (Malky,Clarke) etc I am 100% confident they would not of been able to sign players like TA,Tadic & Pelle

If I am picking a player Tadic & Bertrand have been very impressive

Koeman for me by a country mile. He is shaping up to be the Man. I dont expect miricles overnight but I really think he has it in him to take this club up a level.

Tadic looks like the player to get people out of their seats. He has adapted very well to Prem footy and looks nailed on to help us forget all about our previous captain!

Koeman is no doubt the best signing we made, he is just the right man for the job.

If I was to choose a player though it would be Tadic from what I have seen so far and then Pelle if he carry's on with his last two performances.

Although would probably would be best to judge this after a couple months.

In pure quality terms, Tadic. In terms of apparently replacing a player who apparently couldn't be replaced, Bertrand has made a great start, albeit easier to judge after 40 games rather then 4.

Shane Long - won't be a favourite of many but he adds something a bit different to our front line. Has a similar touch and vision as SRL but much more mobile and a bit of a nasty streak which I like in a forward.

Our options in attack now are as good as they have been for 30 years. Good times.

I hope you are right, but looks an odd one to me - a fit again Rodriguez and I don't see Long threatening the first XI. I do think he may prove useful away from home where he can run the channels, harry the defence and press, where we will likely have to defend more and absorb pressure - at home where we ought to have more of the ball, I am less clear why he would play.

Tadic in the games so far, but the signing of Alderweireld is a major statement in terms of the quality the club (Koeman) can now attract, on paper he makes mincemeat out of the likes of Lovren per se. DT called it right, and Big Ron is key, and the beauty of having a bona fide legend at the helm is that I don't think he will be off the first time a bigger club flashes their knickers!...

To answer your question Ohio, which seems beyond the capacity of many on this forum for the last few months, I will say our Lion's Mane as of all of them I think he has it in him to become a new cult hero, as I really hope so.

Bertrand. Had him on FM2006, replaced Butters at RB and played for us for the rest of his career at this level (multiple PL winners and CL winners). He and JR owned the right side and many medals.

FFS why does every post like this get some miserable sod posting that it is daft. So you have no opinion on what may be a good signing until you have seen then play? No way signing Messi would excite me until I could make a judgement in May cos I'm in control of my emotions me.

Tough call. Pelle for me. RoKo has built the team around him. 2 in 4 already and should be more. Like the guys attitude and commitment especially for a full 90 minutes.

Hoping Mane will do for us what Michu did for Swansea.

What about Osborne?

Bertrand has looked really good so far. Certainly got me eating my words.just wish we'd taken the gamble and signed him straight away. I hate the loan system and think it is being seriously abused
