Said last night that I'd have done exactly the same. Was hilarious watching some frothing at 11pm, only for the club to unleash a steady flow of information thereafter.

 

Social media-wise there's few clubs that can touch us.

Apparently they expected to be able to announce the return of Luciano Becchio on loan at the same time as Smith and Poleon were being sold, but they did the outbound deals and then Becchio told them to **** off and went and signed for Rotherham instead

The missus follows both Liverpool and Southampton's Facebook stuff.

 

She reckons Saints do a much better job, and as a result, knows more about the Saints team this year than she does LFC.

One thing I have realised about social media is that nobody sees other clubs' feeds, so everyone thinks their is the best. Our guys are great but the big clubs knock them out of the park for obvious reasons. City and Arsenal especially do some really cool stuff.
