Still a decent move for him will be good to see him in a competitive league... Probably a better standard than the SPL funnily enough given the teams that got relegated and rangers being in there.

Fair play. From what I've seen of him live I really don't see him ever playing much for us but it will be decent experience and a good chamce to bang in some goals.

Might get a bit of playing time, but the quality of opposition is sorely lacking. Not sure if it will really benefit him if I'm honest. Better playing than not I suppose.

Quite interesting how many loans have gone through for our young players after Les Reed explicitly said that's not how we develop players. Not a criticism, merely an observation.

Hibs' boss is Alan Stubbs, who did a bit of work with Everton's youth. Might have impressed by what he saw when playing us. Happens a lot - Neal Ardley at Wimbledon was Cardiff's youth boss for a while, saw a few players he thought could do a job in League Two and sure enough signed them when he got the Dons job.

Think we won't see him at Saints again. Believe his contract is up at the end of the season - hopefully he can forge a good career for himself.

 

If Saints thought he was going to make it they would have given him a long term contract like Gallagher, Reed, JWp, Targett, etc
