Appy Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Anderson linked with Burnley. For the pies apparently.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Richard Dunne possibly to Burnley. Wonder if they still want Jos? Might be hard to get rid of him. Heard Norwich were looking at him (Jos).
thorpie the sinner Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 2pm, got to be close to a 'DONE DEAL' klaxon from K Billy for TA!!!!
ToreSF Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Think Redmond will be a very good player, so I rather have him instead of Mane.
Mallagroth Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Jos is important to dressing room spirit just like Kelvin, don't want him to go for that alone in a season of transition.
Appy Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Think Redmond will be a very good player, so I rather have him instead of Mane. Will Mane not be a very good player then?
Smirking_Saint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 I know he is getting a sheadload of money, but if you were a decent footballer, wouldnt you actually want to play each week? I would personally, money isnt everything. If your earning circa 40k a week anyway then is that extra cash necessary ? Personally Id rather play regularly and try to win things. I wonder whether some of these agents do things for the best interests of their players
a1ex2001 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Jos is important to dressing room spirit just like Kelvin, don't want him to go for that alone in a season of transition. He can't be on much so I'd keep him about until at least the end of the season
Smirking_Saint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Think Redmond will be a very good player, so I rather have him instead of Mane. I dont see much difference between Redmond or Townsend tbh
Heisenberg Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Jos is important to dressing room spirit just like Kelvin, don't want him to go for that alone in a season of transition. Could hire a team of clowns? Might be much cheaper than keeping a player just bcos hes good for team morale?
Colinjb Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 No mention of Boruc at all so far.... Irene must be busy.
Mallagroth Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Could hire a team of clowns? Might be much cheaper than keeping a player just bcos hes good for team morale? The clowns would not be very good friends with some of the current players, enough so that they regularly get mentioned as being the 'funniest' player. Team morale at this time for us is priceless hence no more sales either. Although I won't deny you are the expert on clowns Gs
St.Patrik Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Guedetti is going to Palermo according to Swedish media so we can kill thar rumour as well - if there even was one.....
sadoldgit Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 I would personally, money isnt everything. If your earning circa 40k a week anyway then is that extra cash necessary ? Personally Id rather play regularly and try to win things. I wonder whether some of these agents do things for the best interests of their players As a kid I had a choice of subbing for the school 1st X1 or playing in the second team. After a while I decided to play for the second team as I wanted to play for 90 mins. Eventually I got a first team place so it paid off - but I hated being sub.
Colinjb Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Taider loan cancelled, Twitter. #prayfortaider
Bewildered Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 From, the OS statement on Taider Southampton Football Club can confirm that it has agreed to terminate midfielder Saphir Taïder’s loan spell. The midfielder joined Saints for the 2014/15 campaign but, having failed to live up to the high levels of commitment expected of Southampton players, that arrangement has been cut short by the club.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Taider has left... #prayforsaintsweb
Beckenham Saint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Sounds like Gary Taylor-Fletcher has gotten stuck in the Transfer Window.
hutch Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Could hire a team of clowns? Might be much cheaper than keeping a player just bcos hes good for team morale? Or cheerleaders
Chez Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 From, the OS statement on Taider Do this mean that we now know the parent company is the one paying the wages in both Taider and Osvaldo's cases, hence we can terminate the loan deal without having to worry about getting Inter to agree to take him back on. or was that common knowledge?

Thats pretty unequivacal I would say. You, me old mate, do not show enough commitment. Bye bye.......
OldNick Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Sky SPorts news says Capel is dead in the water now. poor sod, will we do a minutes silence saturday?
sadoldgit Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Thats pretty unequivacal I would say. You, me old mate, do not show enough commitment. Bye bye....... Good firm action by the management. Shame he did fit the bill but better sorted now than later.
DT Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 poor sod, will we do a minutes silence saturday? Special tributes at the Capel End
sadoldgit Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 poor sod, will we do a minutes silence saturday? Should negate the need for a medical then.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Special tributes at the Capel End We're naming an end after him? Is that part of the deal then?
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 So with burnley getting boyd today could we see a last minute bid for ings with jos as part of the sweetener !??
DT Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 We're naming an end after him? Is that part of the deal then? Sort of was the whole point of my jokette
Wrensup Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 They're a bit slow on the Taider news ain't they.
Dalek2003 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Yep, rumours that SFC will take Redmond for £10million and Jos going to the Canaries on Pink Un, twitter !
Chez Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 So with burnley getting boyd today could we see a last minute bid for ings with jos as part of the sweetener !?? my guess is no seeing as Boyd doesn't play up front, Burnley don't and won't sell Ings, are we are not looking for a central striker having signed Long. I've been wrong before though.
Saint_Rick Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Scheiderlin has just been linked to Man Utd
beavis17 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 So with burnley getting boyd today could we see a last minute bid for ings with jos as part of the sweetener !?? You tell us...
farawaysaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Morgan to Utd http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/731268784?-11205:798
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Sort of was the whole point of my jokette Ah, my mistake. I assumed it was a spellchecker on a phone or something... Good pun mate.
Golden Balls Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Morgan to Utd http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/731268784?-11205:798 Knew this was coming after his 2 goals.
angelman Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Morgan to Utd http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/731268784?-11205:798 Best put a higher price on for Utd. £40m.
Matthew Le God Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Morgan to Utd http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/731268784?-11205:798 Knew this was coming after his 2 goals. Its a story on a bookmaker's website, they write articles like this to get people to place bets.
farawaysaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Its a story on a bookmaker's website, they write articles like this to get people to place bets. We know where it is and what it represents Matt, we also know the bookies often (but not always) have advanced knowledge of bids/moves.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 my guess is no seeing as Boyd doesn't play up front, Burnley don't and won't sell Ings, are we are not looking for a central striker having signed Long. I've been wrong before though. ??? Boyd is a striker
S-Clarke Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 ??? Boyd is a striker He's not an out and out striker, he's more of an attacking midfielder who can play between the lines. left/right/number 10 role is what he's about.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 He's a forward / striker but has been used as a number 10
Chez Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 ??? Boyd is a striker I've seen him maybe 12 times live and not once did he ever play up front. Left midfield or left wing. Whatever. Ings won't be allowed to leave. Burnley want to stay in the division and know they need Ings to have any chance of that.
mynameisthehulk Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 We know where it is and what it represents Matt, we also know the bookies often (but not always) have advanced knowledge of bids/moves. If the bookies are thinking its going to happen, why are they telling everyone about it and still taking bets? : palmface :
SO16_Saint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 ??? Boyd is a striker seen him play live loads of times, never once used as an out and out striker
SNSUN Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Work day done, SSN on! I like the link but on SSN he has just been linked with Hull. Agent talk? It's a lovely feeling knowing we're definitely bringing players in on deadline day! (Or not and slating Ronald for it...)
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 At what point do we start to panic that there's been no news or announcements. I'd like to set an alarm so I don't miss out. I'm guessing the Guan smiley warning system will be in operation prior to any official announcements too?
the saint in winchester Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Winger - I would offer £15M for Nathan Dyer!
