Secret Site Agent Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 He posts on here!? I didn't see him on the ITK list but I suppose he would be a Saints supporter. He would have to be, he couldn't have been born in Portsmouth. They wouldn't be able to find 3 wise men and a virgin.
Saint_Tony Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Ramirez is no big loss, he's just never really shown up, at times I forget he even plays for us. An undoubtedly gifted player, just hasn't shown much at Saints
angelman Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Gaston is probably one of the highest earners in the squad and it therefore makes financial sense to get him off the wage bill if he isn't going to be a regular. If he does well at Hull we should be able to get a decent fee for him next summer He was quoted when signing that it was €2m a year + €1m signing on fee. €2m @ £1:€1.25 = about £30k per week
farawaysaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 I don't understand this? http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/****-her-right-in-the-pussy
TwoPints Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Imagine how the Hull fans must be feeling. They've just signed a player that's been at Saints for two years, is constantly injured and has hardly played a full game in all that time. Scored a few goals but nothing to set the world alight. From the outside looking in, you'd be disappointed with that signing wouldn't you?
sussexsaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 If these deals are done can the club just stick 'em on Twitter now so I can chill for what's left of the evening? Please? Twitter is being used for 'other things' at the moment , no room for much else
St Chalet Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 He was quoted when signing that it was €2m a year + €1m signing on fee. €2m @ £1:€1.25 = about £30k per week That was after tax. I am led to believe he is on over £60k pw
mulletsaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Gaston is probably one of the highest earners in the squad and it therefore makes financial sense to get him off the wage bill if he isn't going to be a regular. If he does well at Hull we should be able to get a decent fee for him next summer Other people have made similar observations and it undoubtedly makes sense in that way, but I feel with the players we've already lost this window and our lack of guile at times, it would have been a good idea to have kept him in the squad. Still, if we confirm this Mane bloke and he hits the ground running, I dare say we wont give two hoots.
Asaint4ever Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Twitter is being used for 'other things' at the moment , no room for much else Jennifer Lawrence?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 No but as Southampton have confirmed it perhaps it might be true. They said Southampton confirmed talks were happening not that any deal is done
Tamesaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 He was quoted when signing that it was €2m a year + €1m signing on fee. €2m @ £1:€1.25 = about £30k per week I think that those wages were "netto" - after tax. ie His wages would be nearer £50k a week as measured on the conventional scale.
Winchester Red Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Bruce is adopting a high risk strategy if he's relying on Ben Arfa and Ramirez for anything
Saint Charlie Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 SSN guy at Hull again saying Ramirez has signed.
angelman Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 That was after tax. I am led to believe he is on over £60k pw Ah yes, heard that as well. Might as well give his wage to Morgan. But can Hull really afford that if reports are to be believed that they are paying £3m and his wages - that would be £6m for the year!! Or is he taking a wage cut?
mcjwills Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 What's with all the yellow? Sky sports transfer deadline tradition, from Jim Whites yellow tie
Verbal Kint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 He was quoted when signing that it was €2m a year + €1m signing on fee. €2m @ £1:€1.25 = about £30k per week He was quoted as saying he would earn that money after deductions
Saints foreva Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Simon Peach @SimonPeach 1m Now we can talk about Gaston Ramirez to #HCAFC as a done deal. Announcement imminent.
SB Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Imagine how the Hull fans must be feeling. They've just signed a player that's been at Saints for two years, is constantly injured and has hardly played a full game in all that time. Scored a few goals but nothing to set the world alight. From the outside looking in, you'd be disappointed with that signing wouldn't you? Yea, I reckon hull fans are crying at the fact they've flogged shane long for 12 million, replaced him with a young Uruguay international and get saints most creative player on a season long loan.. ****ing clown
Secret Site Agent Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 "Daily Blind, the guy that sounds like a Braille newspaper" If they make him captain, it'll be D.Blind leading THE blind:lol:
mcjwills Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Hey just seen an exciting picture of a convoy of cars travelling down a lane ?
Wrensup Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 YES caught a '**** her right in the pussy' Can go to bed now.
TwoPints Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Yea, I reckon hull fans are crying at the fact they've flogged shane long for 12 million, replaced him with a young Uruguay international and get saints most creative player on a season long loan.. ****ing clown Lol... Saints most creative player? WTF. He's been creative two or three times a year. Historically Lallana has been our most creative player and this year it's been Tadic. ****ing clown.
VectisSaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Wtf are Chelsea fans doing at QPR? Proving they are tits by not even realising they have their flag updide down.
TwoPints Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Hey just seen an exciting picture of a convoy of cats travelling down a lane ? A convoy of cats? Now that I would like to see.
Saint_Jonny Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Yea, I reckon hull fans are crying at the fact they've flogged shane long for 12 million, replaced him with a young Uruguay international and get saints most creative player on a season long loan.. ****ing clown Jesus. Have most of you seen him play? Yea the lads got 'potential', but he rarely puts it into practice.
The9 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Gaston confirmed http://mobile.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20140901-gaston-ramirez-hull-city-loan-1892179.aspx
Saint Charlie Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Quite bizarre that Ramirez best game for us was his first home game. Never reached those heights again.
saint si Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Hey just seen an exciting picture of a convoy of cars travelling down a lane It's a f'ing long lane - they've been showing that since about 6pm
bristolsaint29 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Proving they are tits by not even realising they have their flag updide down. Can they spell upside?
farawaysaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Gaston confirmed on Saints Twitter. Lies from all again, I really like Gaston (god knows why, he's hardly rewarded my faith).
Viking Warrior Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Bunch of Chelsea knobs at QPR , at one point I thought the reporter was going to deck one if them when he stepped inside the magic spray circle . The reporter was not looking to happy with their antics
M271 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 West Ham have signed Fuka Inthapussy Sky only have themselves to blame for the mongs hanging around the reporters and acting stupidly, what do they expect when standing outside football grounds/training grounds? Some may find it entertaining but for me it's the worst part of watching these transfer nights. Anyway come on Saints announce the 2 signings, would be surprised if we let Jos and Gaston go if not absolutely certain.
doddisalegend Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Yea, I reckon hull fans are crying at the fact they've flogged shane long for 12 million, replaced him with a young Uruguay international and get saints most creative player on a season long loan.. ****ing clown Most creative player who hardly ever plays. If he was a regular first teamer week in week out it would be different but despite his amazing creative flare we managed to survive most games last season without him.
sfc1976 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Can't see how a winter up in Hull will bring the best out of him, sounds dreadful to me. But all the best.
farawaysaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Southampton Football Club can confirm that Gastón Ramírez has joined Hull City on loan for the rest of the season. With Ramírez keen for regular first-team football, something has been further limited by recent attacking additions to the squad, the Uruguayan has been allowed to join the Tigers on a temporary basis. 23-year-old Ramírez will not be allowed to play against Saints when the teams meet this season, and will return to St Mary’s next summer. Block34 Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC 56s ANNOUNCEMENT: @gasramirez10 joins @HullCity on loan for the rest of the 2014/15 season – http://sfcne.ws/RamirezHull #saintsfc
Norm Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Hmm, I find myself disappointed that we have agreed to Gaston going on loan.
JoeShmoe Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Ramirez is on what, 70k, and plays what, 10 mins every two games? Another good move by Reed and Krueger in my book
Viking Warrior Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Gaston will not be allowed to play against us this season . That's good news
mulletsaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Hopefully now the club have confirmed Gaston's departure they can get a shift on and confirm the other two in.
VectisSaint Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 They haven't? OK now? Must be done deal if Peach has caught up.
Matthew Le God Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 Gaston will not be allowed to play against us this season . That's good news That is a Premier League rule, not down for the clubs to discuss in transfer talks.
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 1 September, 2014 Posted 1 September, 2014 We do the strangest things. Bruce has done some good business. Like others have said, Hull have got the better of us with this one. Gaston on loan and in return we get Long for £12m. Gaston is a international who played in the world cup whilst Long was searching for four leaf clovers on his holidays in Cork. Bruce must be ****ing himself.
