S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Saphir #Taider is returning to #SerieA after a short stay at #Southampton - #Sassuolo have snapped him up.
Batman Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Saphir #Taider is returning to #SerieA after a short stay at #Southampton - #Sassuolo have snapped him up. LOL WTF where does that put us with regards to squad strength?
dan abnormal Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Really couldn't settle apparently. Would make more sense to let go now than to let him stay and rot on the bench
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 This must be up there with Marcelo Sarmiento +sp
foxy9143 Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 So what happens re Osvaldo. Wasn't Tadir part of the loan deal?
hypochondriac Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Where is this being reported? Shambles if so...
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 So what happens re Osvaldo. Wasn't Tadir part of the loan deal? 2 totally separate deals, not connected in any way.
Whitey Grandad Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 (edited) Well I'm glad I saw him play. I'll be able to tell my great-grandchildren about it. Edited 29 August, 2014 by Whitey Grandad
CB Fry Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 So what happens re Osvaldo. Wasn't Tadir part of the loan deal? No.
SuperSAINT Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 On the day Clasie signs a new contract too! He joins some of our other esteemed Serie A signings... So does this add +1 to our shopping list?
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Saphir #Taider to Sassuolo on loan. #Inter have agreed to this. [Alfredo Pedulla]
Saint Charlie Posted 29 August, 2014 Author Posted 29 August, 2014 Very odd. Clearly not much due diligence done with this one.
SuperSAINT Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 2 totally separate deals, not connected in any way. Other than both being terrible for us
itchen_dan Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 From his GF on Twitter PrincessKafah: @DavidAmoyal hated it from the day he arrived he would have gone back the day he came but he didn't because of me I'm sad he's going though
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Other than both being terrible for us I wish we'd steer clear of Italy, full stop.
hypochondriac Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Very odd. Clearly not much due diligence done with this one. Shambolic to be perfectly honest. The one area we had great cover and it gets weakened further.
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 From his GF on Twitter PrincessKafah: @DavidAmoyal hated it from the day he arrived he would have gone back the day he came but he didn't because of me I'm sad he's going though If I remember all the build up to this move, he was never that keen was he? Seemed to take some convincing, that's why the other rubbish Inter bloke was being lined up instead. We do seem to have some dim-wits in our recruiting department.
Sour Mash Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Weird signing all round, up there with matey from Norway the other year. Maybe he was being held in back-up just in case we did lose Schneiderlin in this window?
Batman Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Shambolic to be perfectly honest. The one area we had great cover and it gets weakened further. another one for the club this summer. pretty poor to be honest Im guessing we wont be as strong as we were in May come monday? Ralph said we would be
CityRanger Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 I hope Harrison Reed takes his place in the squad. Didn't see the point of this guy anyway, they were probably covering for Morgan leaving but now, hopefully, the situation has changed.
hypochondriac Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 another one for the club this summer. pretty poor to be honest Im guessing we wont be as strong as we were in May come monday? Ralph said we would be I think everyone realised Ralph was talking out of his arris months ago. Except maybe wes perhaps. We will be weaker overall at lb, probably cb, rb, midfield and attack.
Faz Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Shambolic to be perfectly honest. The one area we had great cover and it gets weakened further. How does it get weakened by a guy who has never kicked a ball in anger leaving?
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/taider-returns-to-italy-to-join-sassuolo/
dubai_phil Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Bugger. That's gonna screw up our plans for the entire #globalsfc membership world domination and marketing schemes. Just lost 15,000 members in North Africa
saintbletch Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Does this put Cork's contract discussions in a different light, I wonder?
Sour Mash Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 From his GF on Twitter PrincessKafah: @DavidAmoyal hated it from the day he arrived he would have gone back the day he came but he didn't because of me I'm sad he's going though Is that actually his Missus or just a stalker?
Batman Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 How does it get weakened by a guy who has never kicked a ball in anger leaving? quite obvious, really
SuperSAINT Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Weird signing all round, up there with matey from Norway the other year. I know this isn't really related but after this, I now REALLY hope Gardos is more Lovren & less Forren.
Heisenberg Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 FFS i had Taidar 8 printed on my new shirt earlier today
Saint Charlie Posted 29 August, 2014 Author Posted 29 August, 2014 So we have 6 new signings and 6 players have left I think so with three days to go we are level numbers wise but quite significantly down quality wise.
hypochondriac Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 How does it get weakened by a guy who has never kicked a ball in anger leaving? Looked like a decent player to me. Hasn't had to have played yet for the team to be weakened. If gardos left tomorrow the squad would be weakened and he hasn't even played a game yet.
Colinjb Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 A real pity, he looked promising. More need to retain Cork and Morgan now.
Turkish Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 I know this isn't really related but after this, I now REALLY hope Gardos is more Lovren & less Forren. Did you not hope that was the case before then? Odd.
itchen_dan Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 PrincessKafah: Thanks to @DavidAmoyal & his big mouth & now it's out, YES everyone Saphir is going back to Italy, shame he couldn't settle in England
RoswellSaint Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Shambolic? Really? How is it the club's fault that the guy gives up and goes home after a few weeks because he is homesick? It takes a while to settle in a foreign country. If he has gone because he is homesick that is totally his fault for not trying to make it work. It is better he is gone but doesn't leave much time to bring someone else in his place.
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 And why is it that every single player from Italy, struggles with 'home sickness' ?
madruss Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Way to give it a chance! God how precious are modern footballers
doddisalegend Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Is their no contract in a loan then. I mean if a player signs up for a season long loan isn't contractually obliged to see it through or are the allowed to just walk out because they've changed their mind?
Manuel Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 For what it's worth, for the 20 minutes I saw him I didn't think he was all that.
doddisalegend Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Way to give it a chance! God how precious are modern footballers It's mad isn't it? you'd think they would see playing football foe a living as a privilege and something to enjoy yet so many modern footballs come across as gutless, moaning ****s these days
Heisenberg Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 And why is it that every single player from Italy, struggles with 'home sickness' ? Italy Southampton
Katalinic Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Shambolic? Yep better now than on Tuesday - at least it gives us a slim chance of getting a replacement in.
Saint Garrett Posted 29 August, 2014 Posted 29 August, 2014 Explains why he hasn't been used at all. Strange one. I never saw him play.
