I know they need time to get to know each other and gel. I understand that but would like to see us with more shape anted trying to keep it and pass it on the deck. Not sure where we are going with this. Maybe big Ron is thinking this will work against champ side

god this is awful, we have virtually our strongest side out and look inept. For all the slagging off of Pelle, i have got to say the service is **** poor. For the first time i am genuinely worried about this Saints side. We don't look capable of creating a thing, let alone score a goal.

Have you been drinking Mike? I've just trawled through the other posts of doom and gloom and you come up with this positive stuff?!

No... he's drunk... we are woeful end of

Does Osvaldo have an emergency recall? Why are we so bad at buying strikers?

Hopefully this really is just gelling and not long term fail.

Indeed that's my issue.

Well, it won't be a disaster if we lose tonight. Who cares about the League Cup. I think we will need to concentrate on staying up this year and I have held this view since the end of last season.

Wow, Wanyama......2 monumentally bad decisions in 2 minutes.

There is just nothing about Saints this half (against a weakened Millwall team). No guile, no midfield, nothing. Absolutely horrific display so far.

Missing Morgan?

Wow.

Really poor. No fluidity, no zip, and no apparent game plan.

Really need to see something in the second half; not sure I can buy into the "it's still early in the season" stuff.

I think you're right Dalek. This is relegation fight form. We haven't got enough depth and our 'best' players are not yet ready. Worrying performance. Lets see what Koeman can do in the dressing room.

I truly cannot remember being so dispirited watching Saints play since the dark, dark days. Everything that was built through Adkins then Pochettino seems to have been thrown out of the window. Long balls to no-one, totally toothless attack and not sure what the hell the midfield is meant to be doing but Millwall have the run of 2/3 of the pitch with basically no Saints players anywhere near. Absolutely no class being displayed by anyone.

Gutless, guileless and extremely concerning.

The problem for me is that as well as bedding in tons of new players we are also playing a new style and new formation. My biggest worry when we employed Koeman was if the continuity would be good enough. Wonder if Tuchel would have been more seamless. Hopefully Koeman can get them playing as a team soon. There were good signs at Liverpool, god knows where they are now.

been a long time since I have seen a style of play at saints where the CB is the main creator.....HOOOOOOOOOOOOF

not so happy if this is RK style

Louis Van Moyes and Koeman haven't got a clue about playing in England. I think back to Poortviet's sides at at least they were a delight to watch. Time to be sounding out Nigel as I've a strong hunch Koeman out of his depth. :(
