Looks like we are taking this seriously

How sad is it to go to football on your own? Really tempted to just pitch up (assuming tickets are still available). It's relatively easy for me to get there.

Much less hassle doing everything on your own!

Isn't Turnbull at Swindon?

Yep, he certainly is, I meant McCarthy.

Pretty solid team we've put out there, anyone would think we were punishing them for being pants on Saturday. :D

Morgan, Tadic and Bertrand won't feature so debate largely irrelevant.

Well Tadic and Ramirez are featuring tonight.

Disappointed Cork isn't in the starting xi. Good to see Targett and Isgrove getting chances.

Damn, I didn't notice that - surprised Cork or Taider didn't start.
Maybe they didn't want him getting lost in London and accidentally ending up at a different club ?

Ronnie would have to keep him on a leash that close to London, for fear he wonders off. He's under lock and key at St Mary's.

Beat me to it haha

Definitely concerned about Morgan's absence here.

Funny, I'm not remotely concerned about it, we have a pile of midfielders much of a muchness and should be giving the others a shot in a game like this. More interested to see that we're sticking with Fonte and Yoshida, which makes me wonder if Gardos is being saved for the weekend or if he's got Forren Syndrome.

Bertrand isn't involved either btw, is he off? :D

Disappointed not to see Taider. Where's Morgan? Worrying...

Must be one of the players who aren't 100% just as RK said. Good game last Saturday for someone who isn't 100% really.Maybe he's got a new agreement that he doesn't have to participate in sh*t games this season. West Ham and then 2 internationals next week will be enough.

Or Cork but I guess we are still trying to get the majority of the first eleven to gel, so no wholesale changes.

Chill mate, he uploaded a video of him doing the ice bucket challenge at the training ground today - didn't appear to be sulking either. Probably just recovering from a knock, or Koeman didn't want to over-exert him given lack of pre-season.

This could be the test whether Davis and JWP can provide the high tempo, quick ball and forward runs that were absent on Saturday. If it's still slow at half time I wouldn't be surprised to see Taider and Ramirez on.

Should be an easy win tonight, plenty of goals. Saints 5-1. I cant see Millwall putting out a strong team as not been too bad in league so far compared to last season. Saints should have enough to win banana skin tie or not.

Blimey o Riley that's a strong line up. Fingers crossed it'll do the biz. I forgot what predo I went for in the prediction league and I can't be arsed to check but I'm going for a simple 2-0 Saints win.

I'd say after the World Cup & lack of pre-season 2 games in 3 days is probably too much.

This , he's a few weeks behind everyone else ! He looked fairly happy in his Ice bucket challenge earlier Jay did one too so I'm guessing they are doing some rehab together?

Easy PR win for them to name a strong side and makes sense for the team to gel. Not sure I'd play a team that strong against lower-league opposition later on in the season but this more or less rules out another Sunderland situation.

Schneiderlin obviously not wanting to be cup-tied...

Although a possible theory, I doubt he's worried to much about being cup tied for the league cup.. More a case of resting for Saturday *wishfulthinking

Dear oh dear, we look terrible. Midfield appears to be non existent and only ball from the back seems a hoof

agreed so far :(
