Olallana Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 Villa as awful to watch as always. Really wish they would go down, also cause I really dislike Paul Lambert and his style of football...
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 can someone wake me up when this villa neewcastle game is over...f uck me its dull....
Beckenham Saint Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 Going to have to wait a long time to see a more boring match than this Newcastle / Villa game!
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 the crowdplaying vollyball and notgiving the ball back for a newcastle corner has been the most entertaining bit of the whole match...
Olallana Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 the crowdplaying vollyball and notgiving the ball back for a newcastle corner has been the most entertaining bit of the whole match... Tbf they strung together a lot of more passes in a row than that Villa team ever does...
S-Clarke Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 QPR not looking too good. Their back line has had to take a days release from the retirement home.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Their back line has had to take a days release from the retirement home. Haha yeah. They're not only slow but also look like rabbits in the head lights.
Roo1976 Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 can someone wake me up when this villa neewcastle game is over...f uck me its dull.... well we only lasted for about 2 minutes or so it seemed on motd tonight so hold back on the critisisum our entire match was s***
VectisSaint Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Haha yeah. They're not only slow but also look like rabbits in the head lights. Cue Bagpuss appearing on Sky several times in the coming week bemoaning the players he has and looking for Fernandez (? is he still owner) dipping in his pocket to buy a few more in. I predict at least one shot of saggy chops leaning out of open car window giving a few sound bites along these lines.
Appy Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Going to have to wait a long time to see a more boring match than this Newcastle / Villa game! You only had to wait half an hour.

Batman Posted 24 August, 2014 Author Posted 24 August, 2014 good god, united are a shambles in defence
S-Clarke Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Utd are simply atrocious. As long as they start with players like Cleverley, Young, Smalling, Fletcher, then they'll never play in europe again.
Wes Tender Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 So we have the same points total after 2 matches as Man Utd, but at least we drew our home game. Cue Savage saying that United are in a relegation scrap, eh?
igsey Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 So we have the same points total after 2 matches as Man Utd, but at least we drew our home game. Cue Savage saying that United are in a relegation scrap, eh? And I think most people would agree that Liverpool and WBA is a tougher opening two games than Swansea and Sunderland.

Wes Tender Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 We're both as likely to get relegated as West Ham  That was a real gem, wasn't it? Which genius came up with that little pearl of wisdom?
Wes Tender Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 And I think most people would agree that Liverpool and WBA is a tougher opening two games than Swansea and Sunderland. We can't be far off somebody claiming that Dutch managers are crap in the PL based on these first two matches.
trousers Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Just watched Spurs v QPR on MotD2. Not a bad manager that Pochettino fella....
Batman Posted 24 August, 2014 Author Posted 24 August, 2014 Just watched Spurs v QPR on MotD2. Not a bad manager that Pochettino fella.... A huge amount of the predictions that he won't last the season and all that are way wide of the mark.
Plastic Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Spurs looked brilliant. Maybe 4th isn't out of the question.
ThreeSixty Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Spurs were awful vs West Ham and were playing a poor QPR side. I'd withhold judgement.
S-Clarke Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Spurs were awful vs West Ham and were playing a poor QPR side. I'd withhold judgement. He's a great coach and has them already playing the high tempo, high press game I was so used to seeing here. Quite a depressing watch, all being told. We had something very good for a 18 months.
trousers Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 @bigadamsport: RT @BBCSport: West Ham boss Sam Allardyce says captain Kevin Nolan could be sidelined for six weeks with a fractured shoulder

Saint Garrett Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Poch is a top coach, and if anyone is going to get Spurs competing, it's him. How I miss first have obliteration of opponents!
ART Posted 24 August, 2014 Posted 24 August, 2014 Until today I had a distinct hatred and lust for dreadful revenge falling Pochettino's way. Yet watching Spurs play against QPR he has convinced me of any doubts I had in the past on his abilities were false. One was able to see how quickly he's transferred his style of play to the Spurs players, players with superior abilities yet until Pochettino;s arrival were neither motivated or working together as a team. If Spurs sit already on top of the Premier League after a couple of games one can only think back one year ago when Saints reached the Number 3 spot. Pochettino is now working with players whom is turning into class players. Today I saw clearly why he left our club. It confirmed that we weren't ambitious enough, weren't able to back a truly top coach to take us forward. It's taken a lot of pain and soul searching to reach the point where we can see the powers that were, weren't able to back Pochettino. I believe the primary person responsible has fallen on his sword after Katharina and those remaining now see what he did, with or without their support.
Mystic Force Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 Spurs beat QPR not won the champions league. Of the games i have seen so far there, seen a.lot of average looking sides out there so we should be fi.e maybe not 8 th but there are worse sides than us.
doddisalegend Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 This is going to be a long season of people banging on about "what ifs" and how great all those who left in the summer are, isn't it? People need to move on I reckon. Clearly all those that left were good at what they did or no one would have wanted them but they didn't want to be here so time to support those that are here. Constant comparisons of Pelle and Lambert or stating that Poch is a good manager (errr duh) are just going to make these boards unbearable ............no point crying of spilt milk.
Batman Posted 25 August, 2014 Author Posted 25 August, 2014 get in City score to go 1-0 against Brenda's liverpool. Liverpool been better to be fair
Beckenham Saint Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 Nice one, City score against Liverpool - Lovren with the assist!
SNSUN Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 Nice one, City score against Liverpool - Lovren with the assist! Anfield's Hooiveld?
S-Clarke Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 Not entirely sure how Liverpool have any real hopes of winning the league with Johnson in that team. Awful player.
Batman Posted 25 August, 2014 Author Posted 25 August, 2014 3-0. Not a good night for Lovren. all over the place its liverpools year.....honestly
St.Patrik Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 3-0 city and must say Lovren has been really really poor today. Or is it just me that likes so much that he fails ; )
SaintRobbie Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 Citeh look good. 100 points this season? Worth a cheeky bet in my opinion.
angelman Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 3-0 city and must say Lovren has been really really poor today. Or is it just me that likes so much that he fails ; ) Patrik, that would be very petty wanting him to fail, but no, it's not just you. I want him, our ex manager and one other ex-player to fail, and yes, I know it's petty.
SaintSteve Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 3-0 city and must say Lovren has been really really poor today. Or is it just me that likes so much that he fails ; ) At fault for the 3rd goal... but defending with Gerrard in front of you is slightly different to defending with Wanyama in front of you.
Batman Posted 25 August, 2014 Author Posted 25 August, 2014 Lambert bundles 1 in he has scored for his team
St.Patrik Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 A little get in for SRL - but just a little : )
S-Clarke Posted 25 August, 2014 Posted 25 August, 2014 Liverpool look further away from the league than they've ever looked. City have just ****ed all over them this 2nd half.
