waggy Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 This time it's VW to the Arse http://www.afrikansoccer.com/2014/08/arsenal-prepare-offer-for-southampton-midfielder-wanyama/
DT Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 Was waiting for this one. Can't understand why others aren't in for him.
BlakeySFC Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 Mikel Arteta's 2 WEEK ankle injury will force them to spend £10m+ on a new midfielder
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 Is it in the DM? I can't see it on the website, and well I don't buy the paper.
angelman Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 Is it in the DM? I can't see it on the website, and well I don't buy the paper. +1.
david in sweden Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 This time it's VW to the Arse http://www.afrikansoccer.com/2014/08/arsenal-prepare-offer-for-southampton-midfielder-wanyama/ ....well what did you expect from the Mirror.......now that all the other " non-deals " have been exposed as false rumours, they have to " create " something, or print a blank page.
farawaysaint Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 http://www.afrikansoccer.com/2014/05/kenyan-midfielder-wanyama-wants-to-join-former-saints-boss-pochettino-at-spurs/ http://www.afrikansoccer.com/2014/02/manchester-city-eyeing-southamptons-kenyan-midfielder-wanyama/ I think it is Wanyama's agent stirring trying to drum up interest. Judging by comments when Wanyama was originally linked to Arsenal calling it a "stepping stone" he feels Wanyama is far too big for us.
Avenue Saint Posted 22 August, 2014 Posted 22 August, 2014 30 to 35m for one of the WORLD'S best defensive midfielders. He is not for sale of course.
KingdomCome Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 Or, it's could be true Tbf, this rumour seems to be based on nothing more than the bit on afrikansoccer website. It states that the DM are reporting it but I've not seen it on the DM website (I don't buy it so don't know if it was in print) which in itself is more than a bit suspicious. I'd wait until it's reported by more than a bit part website before I'm concerned.
ThaiSaint Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 ....well what did you expect from the Mirror.......now that all the other " non-deals " have been exposed as false rumours, they have to " create " something, or print a blank page. Just to point out that the linked article refers to the Daily Mail, NOT the Daily Mirror.....
Saint Billy Posted 23 August, 2014 Posted 23 August, 2014 Morgan will blow a fuse if we allow VW to go.
