Jillyanne Posted 20 August, 2014 Share Posted 20 August, 2014 Hoping someone can help. I've recently moved in to a rented flat in Boyatt Wood and can only access bbc channels. The tv has a built in freeview box and I've tried a booster Ariel but still only bbc? I also bought a separate digi box to use with another old tv but same issue even though I should have over 60 channels?
Jonnyboy Posted 20 August, 2014 Share Posted 20 August, 2014 Not sure about the aerial but http://www.tvcatchup.com has all the freeview channels on your pc/laptop.
Plastic Posted 20 August, 2014 Share Posted 20 August, 2014 The aerial to your property could be damaged, misaligned, or of an older type that does not fully support dvb-t. I'd suggest getting an ariel installation company to take a look. Some info on issues here http://www.freeview.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/FREEVIEW_Value_Aerials.pdf
mcjwills Posted 20 August, 2014 Share Posted 20 August, 2014 Have you move far to thus new flat you may be in another area for the transmitter. Have you tried a rerune of the Freeview.
Bearsy Posted 20 August, 2014 Share Posted 20 August, 2014 My tv aerial blew off the roof in the high winds last year & I still get all channels just fine. Round my way people refer to this as a the Miracle of Mere Green, and sometimes they come round just to look at my tv in an attitude of awe + wonder.
