Jillyanne Posted 20 August, 2014 Posted 20 August, 2014 Hoping someone can help. I've recently moved in to a rented flat in Boyatt Wood and can only access bbc channels. The tv has a built in freeview box and I've tried a booster Ariel but still only bbc? I also bought a separate digi box to use with another old tv but same issue even though I should have over 60 channels?
Jonnyboy Posted 20 August, 2014 Posted 20 August, 2014 Not sure about the aerial but http://www.tvcatchup.com has all the freeview channels on your pc/laptop.
Plastic Posted 20 August, 2014 Posted 20 August, 2014 The aerial to your property could be damaged, misaligned, or of an older type that does not fully support dvb-t. I'd suggest getting an ariel installation company to take a look. Some info on issues here http://www.freeview.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/FREEVIEW_Value_Aerials.pdf
mcjwills Posted 20 August, 2014 Posted 20 August, 2014 Have you move far to thus new flat you may be in another area for the transmitter. Have you tried a rerune of the Freeview.
Bearsy Posted 20 August, 2014 Posted 20 August, 2014 My tv aerial blew off the roof in the high winds last year & I still get all channels just fine. Round my way people refer to this as a the Miracle of Mere Green, and sometimes they come round just to look at my tv in an attitude of awe + wonder.
